The vast majority of pages I've added to Find-a-Grave are for strangers. I'm always happy to transfer pages to people who know something about these strangers. If you would like for me to transfer a page to you, please let me know (preferably by clicking on "edit" and then "suggest correction" since that will provide both a link to the page and a link to your contributor page with the necessary ID# for the transfer). NOTE: I AM TALKING ABOUT ANY PAGE ANYBODY WANTS (except for the very small number of pages I've created for my own relatives). I do not care how close kin you are or whether you are kin at all. I see no point in keeping a page for somebody I know nothing about when somebody out there does have a connection of some kind -- any kind.|
I live in Jackson (Hinds County), Mississippi, and love "graving," whether here in central Mississippi or in other places when I'm traveling. If you find errors in my listings, please send me corrections.
A note about photo requests: If you make a request for Lakewood Memorial Park, Lakewood South, or Cedar Lawn, please include the section and plot number.

Natalie, I am in error regarding FAG27481094. I thought this was the grave of Ada Blanche Chiles Douglas; but upon further searching I located her grave in Damascus Cmty. in Copiah Co. along with her husband's Isaace Newton Douglas. Sorry for the confusion.

I love to read old newspapers (Library of Congress website) and match up the stories to the memorials on FG. I believe I have found a story about Emmett Cavett in the Macon (Mississippi) Beacon for 10/6/1916.
I thought you might find this interesting.

Thank you very much for the transfer of these family members to me.

Hi - I was researching an unrelated matter and came across an obit for Stephen CATCHINGS, so I created a memorial for him, #170474142. I see that you reside in Jackson, and I wondered if you could tell me if there is a way to determine where in Elmwood Cemetery Mr. CATCHINGS is interred? I have placed a photo request on the memorial, and I thought it would be helpful if I could provide a location for the grave. Thanks - John

Thanks for the transfers of Sarah Lewis, child of Rev. Wm. B. Lewis and Telitha Turnage and Sarah's husband Mr. Millsaps.

Hello again Natalie,
Thank you as always for your continuing help in "reuniting" my family members
The transferred memorials;
Leonidas "Leon" Austin # 39456714
& his wife,
Martha Williams Morris Austin # 39456765
have both been updated to include their parents and siblings. Linked to each other and their nine children.
I will be adding to OUR memorials as I get new information.

I transferred back to you as this is not my ancestor as I previously thought. This is John HH Mosley and mine is John H Moseley. This one was from Arkansas and mine was from MS.

Thank for the transfers. I am working on my family tree and finding out new things daily. With the help of other relatives, I have managed to trace my mother's maternal line back to my 41st grandfather in Ireland. Being a volunteer photography myself, I know what all it entails walking cemeteries searching for graves, taking pictures, and posting them. You have been at it much longer than me and I appreciate all you have done and I promise next time I add a picture I will let you know. Thanks!

"Brother Martin" - as we called him at the First Baptist Church of Jackson, Louisiana was ever known as "C.A. Martin" and I thought it was common knowledge that his name was "Cecil Albert Martin." I don't recall him being referred to as anything else. I was baptized by him as a youth in about 1965. I have always been attentive to people's names -- even as a child.
