We live in Custer County, OK. I (Dolores)was raised in Washita County, OK and Roy Gene Willis, was raised in Kiowa County. Our home town is Mt. View, OK. Roy's family goes back to Kentucky and Tennessee. My family goes back to Georgia, Texas and Illinois. |
When I located findagrave and found pictures of some of my ancestors, it made me want to get all of them listed here. I soon found myself taking local photo requests and now we are photographing and listing entire cemeteries. Beware! Findagrave is addicting, but this is something we both enjoy.
We both enjoy helping others obtain pictures of their relatives' graves when they live too far away to take the pictures themselves. We like findagrave because it is free and we want everyone to know they may use any of the pictures we have placed on this site for their own use. Let us know if we can be of any help to you.
We will release management of any memorial to a family member, as long as the memorial is not one of our family.
Our goal is for all the graves in Oklahoma to be on findagrave and available to help future generations in their search.

I was stationed in Vietnam with this airman. I have found that he died 07/17/1985 and his funeral services were at the First Presbyterian Church in Clinton, OK. He was interred at Parkersburg Cemetery near Clinton. I would like to reach out to his living family members (30 years - I realize his wife most likely remarried) or his kids (2) to give them a perspective of his time in Vietnam and maybe share some pictures with them. How can I reach any of his family members? I've tried the church for his information, but no one answers the phone, but everyone I've contacted say the number is a good number. He and I got pretty close that year over there, and I would like to hear from them. One of the pallbearers is Tamblyn Cecil, and he might know Monty's wife and kids; he appears to still be around Clinton, but no number. Any ideas? Any help you can give in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Jim Larson. firstname.lastname@example.org 330-727-5151.

Hi Dolores and Roy, are you related to the Coop family?
|ausnoot||Wrong maiden name|
Sorry, I put the wrong name myself :D. I was referring to the name you posted as Lillian Madison Ward-Jackson, not Johnson.

I would like to let you know the maiden name you have listed for Lillian Madison Ward-Johnson is wrong. Her parents were James M Magee and Florence(Flora)Jane Hooker. Lillian was married to Henry Harrison Ward 25 Dec 1909 in Butler, Oklahoma. I'm not sure where the Madison came from but its not her maiden name.
