I began seriously documenting tombstones in 2000 mostly for use in my personal genealogy research. The Bellville Baptist Cemetery (also known as Herndon or Bethleham) in Hamilton County, FL, was the first complete cemetery I documented, publishing a booklet that includes pictures of the tombstones, a map of the cemetery and transcription of engraving if possible. I have completed a couple others since and have a few more in progress. I have begun documenting Evergreen Cemetery in Bushnell, Sumter County, FL and currently have pictures of the older sections from the western edge up to the carillion tower but I am still trying to find the time to transcribe them. |
NOTE: I grew up in Bushnell, FL, granddaughter of Ralph F and Florence Beville Collins. I attended church at the Methodist Church. I was known by family and friends as "Betsy." I knew many people that now reside in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visit my web page to enjoy some old pictures of Bushnell and some helpful Beville links.

Thank you so much for adding my ggrandfather, Cornelius McPherson Blue. Is it possible that you could transfer management over to me?
|Ronnie||Granville Beville #11192031|
Hi would you mind adding this note to Granville's page? Sarah was my relative. Thank so much!
The Savannah Republican Newspaper reported 6/14/1810 page 3 that on June 7, 1810 Granville Beville married Sarah Scruggs, the daughter of Richard Scruggs, in Screven County. The minister was Rev. Goldwire.

|Algernon Cannon||Arthur J. Knight, #11182595|
How can Arthur J. Knight be the son of Joel Butler? Wouldn't he be a Butler and not a Knight? His parents were Sarah Jane Butler, born 1824, and James Knight, born 1824.

|Phil Ray||RE: Dan Beville profile & pictures|
The Beville's are an Aliied family and the Samuel Zipperer family @ Bellville were an aunt of uncle of mine. Mr. Zipperer's sister, Mary Ann, was married to Robert Peterson, the large white house under the canopied oak trees on Loch Laurel,north of the Florida line. These Peterson's were my 2nd great grandparents.
