Louisa Oswald
Can you transfer Louisa to me (96106723)and maybe Cliff (her son)? I put in some edits but I realize I have a lot more. I'm looking for her husband Benjamin Franklin Oswald but so far I haven't found him. Thanks for your help, June

Transfer & thank you
Hello Chris,
Thank you for your generosity in transferring:
Franklin E. Rokenbrode # 38357129
to my care. With your help, I have successfully connected him with parents. As I receive more information, I will add it to Our shared memorial.
With sincerest appreciation,

Batten's at Glenwood

did you happen to see if Joseph Batten, who died in 1907, had a marker at Glenwood? I would have thought he was the one who owned the plot there. Hmm?

Wow Chris, those pictures are fantastic. I just knew they were there, but couldn't prove it. Until now. Thank you so much. I will pay it forward.

More information on Mary Lacy
Please feel free to add this biographical information. I am happy to supply sources.

Mary E Lacy's maiden name was Duffy. She was the daughter of John Duffy (1838-1895) and Susannah Holland Duffy (1838-1893) of Lockport, NY. Her father was a boatman on the Erie Canal.

She had a previous, brief marriage, to William Mulvey. Her two sons from that marriage used the last name Duffy. James P Duffy, 1889-1960, also known as the boxer "Lockport Jimmy Duffy" (buried in St Patricks) was one of her sons, as was Elmer Duffy 1890-1966.

She married James Lacy (then spelling his name Lacey) on January 10, 1902 in Welland, Ontario They had three daughters:

Catherine Theresa Lacey Yaeger 19021957
Helen Marie Lacey Weigand 19031985
Dorothy S Lacey 19051931

You can see more about the family at http://www,

Thank you for listing this grave and its links on Find-A-Grave!

Jan Burke, cousin of Mary (1st cousin 3x removed)

Wasn't sure you knew of this online memorial, Fields of Honor.

If you have a picture to send, it can be included in the next Faces of Margraten tribute.

Sorry if you're already aware and/or been contacted.
