|KE Tuttle||RE: Hiram Saxton|
|KE Tuttle||"Hiram" Saxton|
I am researching the names signed in my grandfather's retirement guest book. There appears to be a "Hiram" Saxton (how it was signed) and followed by "Retired SE"...which would have been Sugar End foreman.
My grandfather worked at the Eaton Great Western Sugar Factory and retired after 42 years. He knew many of the workers and most who signed his book in 1954 are deceased and are in the surrounding cemeteries (mainly Eaton).
The only Saxton I can figure would probably be York Elnathan Saxton born 1888 and lived to the age of 104 (d 1993).
Do you have any clues or are you related to this family in Eaton?
We know the factories were closing and a few of the men were moved from other areas to the factories that were still working at that time.
My mother had this book and wanted to find these signers/friends of her dad. She died this summer and I would like to continue, then donate the book to the Loveland Museum, where a lot of the GW items are on display. We would like to have the list of who the men were to add to the donation.
|Ann Bergelt||A.C. Williams/ Hebron Cemetery|
Have been assisting someone in trying to find the burial location for Alford/Albert C. Williams and believe the A.C. Williams you listed in Hebron Cemetery is the correct one. However, a relative contacted someone who has records for Hebron Cemetery and said he is NOT buried there. Need to know the source of information.
|Judy Root||Irene Davis Holmes's Husband|
You made a notation on Irene's memorial (#28062610) that she was the wife of Edgar Jackson Holmes. My dad would like to find out about Edgar if possible. Do you know where his grave might be? Edgar would be my dad's uncle.

|Ruth Smith||Asenath Ollar Randol - New Lorimier|
Just located another memorial page for Asenath Randol #33200393 established by Richard Parker Jan 2009 . He states she is buried at the Juden Cemetery - on Egypt Mills road near Juden School north of Cape Girardeau. Her spouse Joel Randol is buried there also. Could you check this out and combine these pages or delete yours if this is accurate? I am not related - just trying to get the New Lorimier cemetery listing as near correct as possible. Why? don't know for sure but I feel we owe it to researchers to have the correct information and it is a tribute to those people who has passed away. Thanks. Ruth Smith
|Roxanne Kuebler Weathers||Flora June Holmes|
I was able to find Flora's mother and asked for a link but have been unable to find her father, Harold Wallace Holmes. Do you have any information about him or where he may be buried or anything? Thank you for your reply. Roxanne Weathers
|Linda Harrington||Albert C Williams grave|
,My great grandfather married Alice Hedger in 1838. He was a missionary in Kentucky. She and Albert had 2 children, my grandfather being one. Albert C Williams died, she went back to Lawrenceburg, Ky , remarried and had 6 more children. I have no idea where A C Williams died, or how or where he is buried. I went to burial sites and saw where you had posted that he was buried in Hebron cemetery in Lawrenceburg. However, that is not correct because I went there and the person on charge looked through all records and he is not anywhere in Lawrenceburg. We had always heard that J T Hedger traveled to bring Alice and her 2 children back home after ACdied. I was wondering what info you had
