My name is Karen. I have been filling photo requests and adding memorials for cemeteries near where I live in Connecticut, to hopefully help others in their research, and to preserve a record of the older stones before they are unreadable and/or get damaged by age, weather, or vandalism.|
Currently I am actively photographing cemeteries in Hebron, Gilead, Amston, Marlborough, Bolton, Andover, Columbia, Lebanon, Colchester, Glastonbury, and East Hampton (all in Connecticut). Please put in any photo requests you have...I may even already have the photos, but just haven't posted them yet.
Photo Use Permission
Feel free to use my photos in your personal research since after all, that's one reason I take the photos. I have received a lot of requests recently to post these photos on Ancestry - please consider this as permission to do so, but I would love it if you would PLEASE give a photo credit to "Karen Carlini (KC) - Find A Grave" as I have spent so much time and effort to take and post all these photos, and getting a little credit would be really nice. :) Thanks for your consideration, and I hope I've helped with your family research! :)
Corrections, Additions, and Transfers
Please email me by using the "suggestion/correction" link if you have additions or corrections to any of my memorials, or if you are a relative that falls within the Find A Grave guidelines (or close to it) and would like a memorial transferred to you. I'm always happy to add links and bios and want my memorials to be as helpful and accurate as possible!
Virtual Cemetery and Surnames
I am related to most of the people in my virtual cemetery. Some of the surnames I am researching: (north-east) Manchester, Macomber, Pettey, Tripp, Devoll, Rutter, Waltham, Gray, Briggs, Brownell, Corey/Cory, Soule/Sowle, Wodell/Wardell, Lake, Allen, Snell, and (southern) Stevenson, Childs, Chancellor, Garner, Sledge, McGinty, Reavis, Shaw, Miller, Sikes, and Boren. I'm especially interested in old photos of my ancestors and cousins. Please ask if you want more info or want to share. I'm always glad to help and always glad to hear from cousins!

Karen, Thank you for the transfer, I appreciate it. Ken

Sure you can add them to your tree. I'd be a bit annoyed if they ended up in some sort of commercial use, but otherwise that's fine!

Seriously??? I took the very same photo yesterday, centered slightly differently. I went to the Old Eastbury page to add it and yours was there! When were you there? We were there around 3:30-4:00 pm October 18th... I'll email you a couple more...

|George Harger||Deacon John Harger|
Thank you for linking this family. All 4 children now show both parents. Trying to determine if father was of English line (mine) or German line. Interesting point: the two lines pronounce Harger differently.
|Ann Day||Thank YOU!|
Thank you so much for the photo of "Mother" Throop's tombstone. It helps piece things together more easily.
