I have been doing genealogy off and on for about thirty years and enjoy finding my ancestors. Almost all of the people I have listed are relatives in one way or other. Would love to hear from any family members.

I am a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of American Colonies, Colonial Dames and Mayflower Society. If I can help you in any way with membership in any of these groups please let me know.

Opps, and I forgot, another tree has him buried in Rogers, Oklahoma and another as Indian City, Oklahoma. I did an obituary look up and didn't find any obit for him in the Stillwater Gazette. It would be neat if we could find some burial record.

I was just saying in my original e-mail to you is that there is no record of Adoniah Davenport being buried in Payne County. Also, he is not on the list of Civil War Veterans buried in Payne County. That list is very thorough. Also, other family trees on Ancestry.com have him as dying in 1906.

Have a good day,
Pam

I believe there is an error with the stone date and the date actually listed on the memorial page. Please advise

"have done the suggested link to husband, Oscar Mettlen. Are you a relative of the Richards famaily?"

Thanks for making the link! I am related to Oscar's 2nd wife through her first husband, Harold Imel. :-)

By the way,

The TRAPPs are known from the records kept by the Covenantor circuit rider, Rev John Cuthbertson. He recorded the baptism of Keasey/Henry TRAPP's oldest known child, James, on 12 Oct 1760. Henry TRAPP is credited as being a founding member of the 1st Covenentor Church in the Wallkill Valley.

I was there for the last open house at the RDC and wandered in the cemetery.

I noticed on one of the Bruynswick Cemetery memorials (can't remember which) that someone presented info and credited you for it. They added a link to your member page. So, to jump on the bandwagon, I was wondering if you have any info on MY family members who lived in the area?

* TRAPP, known in Ulster from 1760 to 1810 (may have come from CT, not PA - might be Thomas of Martha's Vineyard line).

* FRANTZ/ FRANCE/ FRANS - pushed back to Johann Yost Frantz who sponsored a child at baptism in Ulster in 1768. Might Johann descend from a Palatine like the 1709er Johan FRANTZ/ FRANCK or one who arrived later?

* SINSABAUGH - Catharina married Johann Yost FRANTZ and bore 10 known kids, all baptized at the Brick Church, Montgomery. (Son Joseph married Feb 1800 at Shawangunk to Ruth Trapp.) And who are Catharina's parents?

* Is the husband of Sarah ELTING possibly the son of Catharina & Johann: Johannes/John FRANTZ/FRANCE? Sarah's birthdate is seen in online trees as about 1760 and her husband John is similarly older given that they are the parents whose oldest known child, John (known to me, anyway), was born in 1799. Is it at all possible that Sarah and John were younger than the pedigree charts say? There ARE discrepancies noted in Sarah's story between online trees.

Thanks for your time - I appreciate it, J

Hello Donna,
Sorry, I shouldn't hit enter. It sends instead of going down to message. I just wanted to say hello since we seem to have a name in common as well as hobby. Please delete the extras.
