RE: Margie N Echols
Thanks for the info. I can't seem to place her either. How are the markers arranged? Maybe that will help. Not even sure if she was born Echols or married into the Echols line.

William Stoner
I see where William Pleas Stoned resided in Memphis in 1930. There was a William Stoner who graduated from Memphis Tech High School in 1929 and I was wondering if this is that William Stoner. I have a yearbook picture of the one who went to Tech. My e-mail address is If you want to look at the picture, just send me your e-mail address and I'll send you a link to it.

Their suggestion:
Are you confident that this is the correct cemetery? I have added a grave marker for this person in Decatur Cemetery, Decatur, GA.

You'll need to take the matter up with the entity which created the memorial, the U S Veterans Affairs Office.

RE: Norman Payne's Book
thank you so much Joe.....I am going to bid on it and see how that works......I am looking at the table of contents and certainly see alot of familiar names and with that many pages, it has to be chocked full of info.

Jane will love retirement! She will wonder how she ever had the time to work.
Get some traveling done and Madison is a very nice town!I have been there once. Beautiful old homes.
Tell Jane "hello" from her 2nd cousin!

It's good to hear from you. Maybe now I can remember the relationship!
It's ok that the astereks are there I just didn't want anyone to think there were half siblings when they weren't .
Hope y'all are doing well.

Hi Joe,
I know we are related through the Bullard's or the Veale's but, I can't seem to remember which.
I was just looking at the Find-A-Grave on Richard McRee Veale and I noticed something I hadn't seen before after looking at them many times. I hope you can tell me why it's there.
On some of the ones for the Veale children, Richard being one of them, there are astereks at the end of the names that indicate "half sibling."
None of those children are half siblings.
They all have the same parents.
Could you please explain this to me?
