Wanda and I enjoy getting out and walking the cemeteries, photographing the headstones, and fulfilling photo requests. If the photo we have supplied to fulfill your request is not to your liking please let us know and we will do our best to get a better one. Sometimes we might add more photos then you want on the memorial and if that is the case we can delete what you don't want. We will be more than happy to make corrections, add information or transfer the memorial to you if they are a member of your family.|
We have been helped in our family research many times by information on FindAGrave and hopefully others will be helped by information we have added.
When making suggested edits for memorials please give your source of information.
We will not make edits based on assumptions. Thank you!

Sorry, sounds like i got in a hurry. I will request from the new owner of the memorial.
|Wendy Osier||Paul Coleridge Patterson Smith, Jr|
This gentleman is my great-grand father. I have bee researching his branch for a couple of years to no avail. His father is James Hadden Smith and his mother is Alice Foot. Knowing that there are some naming traditions in the family, I have been researching people with the names Coleridge Patterson. Originally, I did not find anyone until one day I had a typo in my search. I searched Coleridge Patteson. Low and behold a large famous family in England appeared. I have made family trees for many members of this family trying to make the connection and again, I have hit another brick wall. I know that sometimes people from that time period would name their children after famous people of their time or land holders or employers. Therefore, I am putting this out there for all researchers to see the potential name variance and hope that other researchers of this family can help me make the connection. Thank you for your time. You should have the photos by now. Hope they arrived safely. They were too big to send in one message.
Yes, they were political signs and my candidate did not win. Theincumbent remains even though you seldom meet anyone who will admit voting for her. The vote is badly split between 4 parties and one independant who used to be the MP.
At least Harper is gone, that;s one (big) consolation. I am really tired of his Napoleonic attitude "L'etat, c'est moi!". (Canada, it's me!)
It won't be easy for young Trudeau but, hopefully, he won't be so arrogant.

Your request came at just the right time. I had just finished several very busy days with the election and wanted to do something else. Iwas able to collect a couple of signs on the way to Micksville.
I copied all your directions and then left the paper at home. fortunately I was able to find three cemeteries in Micksville; Micksville United, Micksville Presbyterian and St. Stephen's Anglican. The names you wanted were in the Presbyterian cemetery. I didn't even go into St. Stepen's as I was tired by then. It is sunny today but there is a fierce wind blowing from the SW.
If you send me your email address I will send all the pictures to you. You can do what you want with them as I am not particularly interested in getting any credit for them other than a note that I took any picture you decide to use.
Sorry I can't talk to KC people while the Blue Jays are still playing them. (Just kidding. I will have a look.) Bill

Harold & Wanda,
I'm glad I was able to help! I always like to look for photo requests in old cemeteries to help others.
Yes, you may use my picture for your family genealogy page. Thank you for asking! All that I ask is that you insert a photo credit.
If you ever get the chance to visit the northeast, check out Stonington, CT. It's a truly beautiful and historic New England town!

Belatedly I thank you for your photo of the marker for Mary at Union Cemetery in Stotts Cemetery. I really appreciated your work. The close-up view was especially great.
Thank you for your sponsorship! I have transferred him to you.

Harold and Wanda,
Thank you for all the information you have posted on FindAGrave for folks like me. I am a descendant of Albert Louis Powers, son of Henry and Marian Powers. Up until yesterday, I did not even know Albert's wife's given name. I also did not know who Albert's parents were. FindAGrave is an invaluable source of information because of folks like you.
