I have been doing my family genealogy for just a couple of years and I found Find A Grave by mistake. I was doing some research on one of my great great grandfathers and some nice person had taken a picture of his headstone and put it here.
Being retired I thought I could do that too in my spare time.

Hello again. If you're not related we would be thrilled to caretake the Schultz memorials. They are my husband's great grandparents. Their memorial numbers are: Frank - 101249016; Pauline Lisbeth Schultz - 101274900; and Rosalia 101249072. (If you are related we'd love to get to know you.) Thank you and again we're sorry for your loss.

Frank and Paulina Schultz
Good Evening, I just found the headstone pictures you have taken our my husband's great grandparents. We were wondering if you would allow us to use them in our tree? We will happily cite both you and Find A Grave as our source. We always try to do this for any picture we don't personally take. Thank you so much for the pictures and for considering our request. S

Danke Shoen for transfer of Edwin Watzke memorial
Just a quick note to express my heartfelt appreciation for both initially creating this Find A Grave memorial AND for your willingness to transfer it over to my care.

As one senior NCO to another; I also extend a personal salute to your service to this country -- we didn't always agree with the decisions & orders given, but we always did the task placed in front of us to the best of our ability.

I'll get busy updating it this evening. Namasté, "PJ"

RE: Iverson, Marit (Thorsdatter)
Hi Jim, Thank you so very much for taking the time to look for Mary for me! I really do appreciate it!

As far as the maiden name of Marit's mother, I don't have it listed as Rye, although Mary did come from the Farm of Rye in Norway. So, perhaps Rye was used as a last name as well.

Marit's husband's name was Iver, not Ole. You took a photo of Iver Iverson's tombstone and uploaded it to FindaGrave. It looks to be the correct tombstone for him since it does show his Civil War service information. I find it interesting that Marit's tombstone isn't right next to his.

Thanks again!

RE: Iverson, Marit (Thorsdatter)
Hmm, how curious! Strange that her husband would be buried there and she wasn't. I'll have to do some further checking on this.

Thanks again for looking for her headstone at the cemetery. I appreciate it!
