Holden E. LYON - Potter Hill Cemetery
Would it be possible for you to validate the inscription for the age at death for Holden E. Lyon for me at the Potter Hill Cemetery??

Find A Grave has the age noted as 2 yr 6 mo and 22 days BUT the Cortland County Cemetery Listing noted under the USGENWEB project has him noted as dying at the age of 24 yrs 6 mo and 22 days.

I'm trying to calculate the correct birth date for him and whether not he is the son of Pardon and his 1st wife, Nancy or of Pardon's 2nd wife, Ruby.

Thanks for your help.

Kem

family tree
hi tink, I have been working on our family tree for some time now, and was excited when I found that you have increase my tree. We were told my father-in-laws fathers name was Charles and his father was Welcome, but that was all we had except that he had married Elizabeth Edwards. We went looking in Cuyler, cemetery because we were told that he was from there. I went to Find a grave and just put in his name and where we thought he was from and I hit the best news possible , when I found more than just him , but 2 more generations back. I saw that Hardin Potter's parents are Winsor/Damaris Burlingame Potter, do you have any thing on them or where I may find some? Hardin was born in Scituate, R.I.?
Also I notice a book called Taylor- A History by David Crankshaw, what is this?
I look forward to a message back soon. Or anyone who has any my e-mail is mjcpotter@frontier.com thank you Mary

Help please?
Tink,
I have family in Shoemaker Cemetery in Dalton (Jennings, Rineharts, and some Gilberts, too, I believe). My understanding is that we have 1 plot left, but I haven't been able to find any contact info for the cemetery to figure out what space we have left. If you live nearby (I don't) and see a phone number or other contact information posted for Shoemaker, would you please pass along the info? Other than a road trip to Dalton, I'm not sure how else to find a phone number.

Thank you!

duplicate memorial for Florence Blanchard
Your memorial #51929468 is apparently the original Find A Grave page made for her. I had found a memorial added by "NY FIND GRAVERS" and they had transferred it to me because I had the obit for her. At any rate, this has been pointed out to me and my memorial #121860660 for Florence should be deleted. However, perhaps you would add her obit to your page? Thanks so much!
