Dear Fellow Researchers:|
You may use any of the information I have added to Find-A-Grave, including photographs. You may use them in your family tree records or you may add them to Ancestry.com, etc. There is no need to ask for permission as I am delighted that you found it valuable to your research.
Corrections and suggestions are rejoiced over and verified, too.
You are encouraged to request transfers from me, especially if you have more information to add to the memorial. The only exception is if the person memorialized is in my family tree, or was a close friend of mine.
The easiest way to facilitate a transfer is to use the edit tab on the memorial ("Suggest any other correction or addition") to make your request. Donít forget to provide your Find-A-Grave member number. Please be considerate as transfer requests will probably just fall through the cracks unless you provide your member number. (Your member number is at the top of your profile page.)
Due to time factors it might take awhile, but requests (especially from people who provide their numbers for quick and easy transfers) will be carefully considered. You will receive a response.
Find-A-Grave has been extremely helpful to me. I hope my contributions will be just as beneficial to anyone searching for more information about their family.
If you have a moment, please stop by and leave virtual flowers for my great-grand-uncle Gib Smith. His story is part of the reason I volunteer for this site. Thanks, Jan

We had a workday at the cemetery today, with about 7 volunteers pawing through the brush, etc. Little Joseph is off by himself on the eastern end of the cemetery -- at least we have not discovered any others near him.
The periwinkle is very pervasive (and invasive), so it makes the search very difficult. Christie Meacham is spearheading the effort to restore the cemetery; she is a descendant of several of the families represented there. We will try to get more photos posted as they become available.

The photo I uploaded is not the greatest, so I won't be at all offended if you upload yours. ;-)

Now I'm curious which sister-in-law of my Mother's you are referring to... I know all of them except Lee's wife... Who I met 1 time and do not remember her name😞 Actually, only 1 sister-in-law us still living😇
Quite interesting you are also related to 'Bailey' line😋. I agree... Eventually we will find we are all related in way or another 😇

A book, written by Lois Barton, "Spencer Butte Pioneers", 100 years on the Sunny side of the Mountain". Lois Barton lives on the land Lauretta (my Mother) grew up on... In the newer home that her brother and wife built next to her 'Father's' little Log Home. My grandfather stayed living on his land in that little 'log cabin' when Lois Barton family purchased his property 😇

I also see that you have had a big part 'contributing' to information to my 'Taylor' family line... My mother's family😇
Thank you, once again😇
|AngelWings||RE: Nancy Bailey|
Thank You... I will let you know if I find proof of where Nancy is buried...
Yes, it is best to do our own Research and not take for granted that someone else has done theirs.... I'm related to Nancy Bailey Epperson through both my 'Bailey' & 'Epperson' lines.... Nancy was 'sister' to my Great Great Grandmother Catherine Bailey Epperson ... And wife of Ira Epperson who was 'brother' to Catherine's husband, Gilbert John Epperson... Who was my Great Great Grandfather...
The 'Bailey' and 'Epperson' families traveled together coming West... I have been 'Blessed' with documentation from both families... handed down... 😇

Your work on Findagrave is impressive and appreciated.
Some time ago I found a memorial that you made for Ralph Garren. I had requested a photo and did a search using the memorial number I had, but it came up as missing. Then I did a search using his name and death info and found a new memorial for him (#145641850) made just a year ago.
I hope you are all right about that.
Thanks for all you do.

Thank you for bringing to my attention the death date of Nancy Jane Bailey Epperson as being incorrect.
Please take your notice from Nancy's memorial as I have corrected the information. Also please link Nancy and Ira Epperson with their son John Corbin Epperson... As I have submitted a new 'edit' to link him to his parents.
Thank you for your consideration on these memorials.
THANK YOU appreciate it.
