I have been a genealogist for 27 years. I was born in Kansas and grew up in Kansas until I was a sophomore in high school. We then moved to Des Moines, Iowa where I finished high school. I have lived all over the country and traveled in 43 states. I love the history of our country and studying my families along with their friends and neighbors. I keep a huge database of families because I track them as they travel westward. I have helped many people find their ancestors because I have a gift at tracking families, so I want to share that with others. I don't always find everyone, but my percentage rate is at least 95% of the time. They call me the sleuth!! One of my friends once told me "ya can't hide from you!"|
My father was adopted in 1920 and I found our biological family in 1992 when he was 72 years old. I am willing to help adoptees try to find their families, especially the stolen children of Georgia Tann of the Tennessee Children's Home Society in Memphis, Tennessee.
I recently completed research for Hewitt Clarke's new book, "Money and Blood" and am currently doing research for another new book he's going to publish. The story features a section on the family of Filmore Johnson and his wife, Betty Levy and the self made million, Robert Johnson who started BET television, whom is a descendant of Filmore Johnson.
My paternal families
If you use any of my data all I asked is that you give me credit for my work.

|Rich Kreiss||RE: Edna Ray|
lol ... I don't recall helping you, Carolyn, but I respond to a lot of memorial emails every day so I guess it's very possible. Thanks for your comment!
|Rich Kreiss||Edna Ray|
Many, many thanks for the transfer of Edna. I'll add more info to her memorial now.
|Nancy Stearns||Isaac Marshall|
Thank you very much for the information on Isaac Moore and connect to Isaac A. Marshall. I have been to the Friends or French Cemetery in Barnsville Ohio/ Isaac Marshall's father in law is buried there Jacob Phillips along with lots of Moore relatives.

You sent me a request to link parents to this man. However the parents' names don't match either of the 2 different sets of parents given for him on family trees on Ancestry. His death certificate says parents unknown. He is not a relative of mine; I entered his name as part of a project on WW I soldiers from Gaston County. By any chance, do you know the family? His sister's death certificate says her father's name was Alfred. Looks like these people will be a nice puzzle for someone. Thank you.

Posted the photo's to your 3 memorials, and deleted my memorials for the same persons. Thanks for your help. I appreciate members like you that strive to post accurate information. This is another example why findagrave.com is such a great site.
Thank you so very much
for the information!

You have information on FindaGrave that Isaac A. Marshall father was James Marshall and Mother Sarah Ann Moore. I am a descendant of his daughter Martha or Mattie Marshall and have been searching for Isaac Marshall's parents for many years. Could you please let me know where you got the parents James Marshall and are their any other children in the family?
|Charles Dean Crosby||Error in Cemetery|
You have 3 memorials (#'s 111566667 Hartsell, Lydia Matilde Henry; 87089567 Henry, Mildred Malinda "Millie" Lewis; 101389693 Henry, Russell Jones)listed in Henry Cemetery #2, Sevier County TN. These 3 are actually located at Henry Cemetery, Sevier County TN.
These 2 cemeteries are across the road from each other and I have visited both. If you would please transfer them, then I will delete my 3 memorials for these same people in Henry Cemetery. You have a lot more great info on them than I do, I and would just like to get them in the correct cemetery. When this is done I will post photo to your memorials. Thanks
|Sally Scheer||Rector connections|
Looks like we have some Rector connections on my maternal side. There is a Frances A (1762 - ?) listed on an ancestry.com tree as an offfspring of Henry Rector. I wondered if you had run into this name in your searches? Since you didn't include this person in your excellent memorial to Henry Rector, I thought perhaps you might have run into the name but rejected it as spurious. I would appreciate knowing if that's the case or not.
Thank your for your time and please accept my compliments on your research work.
I gave the person the information that you sent to me. He really appreciated the help and sends you a THANK YOU and Happy Thanksgiving.
