I got into this research as a personal and final request for my mother just before she died. She had worked many years on the family history research and had done it with paper and pen. I promised her I would work to get it on the computer. Well you guessed it, I am now hooked as well.
I use FAG as a means of communicating to others the information I accumulate. I appreciate your postings on my memorials, but please, no death certificates. When I find a memorial created by someone else, and I have information that will enhance the memorial, I send a SAC to that person with the information. Each SAC I send is sent with love and a desire for valuable information to be shared. The only negative thing I have to say is that if you respond to me abusively, I will send your message, in its entirety, on to FAG, for appropriate action.
The surnames I am interested in are Breshears, Blackwell, English, Carter, Gantt, Tuckness, Arnold, Cooper, Hogg, Harden, Sherertz, McNair, Sims, Butler, Gallaher, etc.
I'll be happy to transfer records to you if you are relatives of those I have management of. Please let me know if you have corrections or additional information that you would like posted. The proper way to request these changes is not here on my profile page in the comments. To request changes of any kind, go to the memorial in question, click on the at the top right of the memorial and then select the first option. That will give me a link to the proper memorial. Changes requested here on my profile page will be deleted with no action.
I create memorials for anyone that has a headstone in the cemeteries I survey. If there is no date of death, I am uncertain as to whether they are deceased or not. As a result, I create the memorial and connect them to the spouse that shares the headstone.
I post pictures of the persons based on what I have available. If you have better pictures, feel free to post them and send me a note so I can decide if I want to remove the one I have posted.
I have no desire to amass high numbers in any of the categories that FAG tracks. I hope you don't either.
I have added a link to my local Genealogical Society here in Polk County. You will enjoy our site. It is not my personal web site.

Hi, you posted a picture on John's memorial and I was wondering if you would allow me to use it in my family tree. John's father is my 3rd great grand-father.
Thanks for your consideration.

|Billie Jean Marquiss||Worine Ervin Breshears|
Hello! I appreciate the work you do/have done to preserve family memories.
My maiden name is Breshears. "Worine" is actually "Warren Ervin Breshears". He is my father's brother.
Please correct the spelling in your entry for findagrave.com
I can send you evidence of the correct spelling of his name, if you need it.
Billie Jean Breshears Marquiss
My father is Virgil Breshears, whose father is Fred Breshears.

In relation to the message I just posted since I can't find an edit on it---her Find A Grave#s are:
yours #70616692 and the other one added in 2005 12305934. She is buried in Payne Cemetery. Darlene
|Darlene Keith||Mavourneen Hook Locke Sims|
Jan, I have determined that there are 2 memorials for this lady--my cousin. Yours is far more improved that the other one by Find A Grave# 46605619 which was done in 2005. her email is firstname.lastname@example.org. I wonder if the two of you might communicate and resolve this issue since I am helpless to adjust it. It is quite confusing for anyone except those who knew Mavourneen. Thanks. You are so welcome, I don't have a lot of work to do at work during the summer so I have all the cemetery records to Yell County and spend my time trying to connect family members together.
|Anne La Rose||James Madison Watson|
Was your James Madison Watson, 1878-1950 a preacher/minister in the disciples of Christ or the Christian church? I'm searching for a fellow of the same name but his church affiliation is all I have to go on. Does the name CHEEK or Birmingham, Alabama mean anything to you?
|Dan Shepherd||Breshears-Kries Cemetery in Roane County, TN|
Can anyone give me directions on how to get to this cemetery? Robert S. Breshears is my direct line relative. Thanks.
|Dana Heaven Neilon||Lindley Creek Baptist Cemetery|
I left a message on Jesse Hogg's page that has incorrect information. Further research showed that there was a Jesse Hogg born to Joseph and Rebecca Bridges Hogg in 1849. He died 6-11-1913 in Goodson, Missouri. Joseph Hogg signed the death certificate. He died of TB and was single. I wondered if you could remove my message as it is not correct. Appreciate it very much
