Bio Photo Hello...

All requests for transfers should be done through the EDIT tab, select the suggest a correction tab on the memorial, that you would like...and please do not forget to add YOUR Findagrave number. This is the method that I prefer because it is easier for me.

Transfer guidelines always apply. Transfer requests will be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Thank you.

We often wonder if the new memorials we create make a difference. This one definitely did. I had lost track of my sister and hadn't heard from her since last Thanksgiving. I was browsing for some other family details when I ran across the FAG notice for my sister. It wasn't the news I wanted to see, but it answered my nagging question. Thanks so very much for creating the memorial, without which, I might still be wondering for years what ever happened to her.

thank you
It's really nice that you offer to post the pictures of grave sites. Something I never would have thought of prior to our son's passing in 2000. I appreciate that you take the time to do this.

Thank you,
Ann Deneau

RE: Duplicate entries
I think you're being a bit harsh in this situation. Although I agree there are some horrible people on findagrave, I suspect he did his due diligence in seeing if there was a duplicate in the cemetery, and when there was none, proceeded to make one.

I stumble on these types of duplicates all the time when I am searching for a person.

I, for one, do not try to search the No Cemetery category as it is too time consuming with all I'm trying to accomplish, and I consider myself one of the good guys.

Good luck with your research.

Cecil Thigpin #31786488

Please check the headstone spelling. It has Thigpin and you have Thigpen.

Thank you,

Earl Sawyer was my paternal uncle.

Thank you for creating his memorial. If you know of any Sawyers (or Butlers) related to him, please let me know.

Thank you kindly.

RE: Eugene Beloin
here is a sample of the paragraph that I put in the bio section to link siblings when parents' names aren't available...cut and paste the paragraph to the bio section:

If you just change the memorial number in BOTH places, the first memorial number selects the target memorial, the second memorial number provides the blue display for the viewer to click on.

Take a look at my Memorial# 172549529 to see how it shows up.

RE: Marianne Reichenbacher
Hi Dave, That question of burial in the Gunsenhauser lot is best put to the cemetery. Their contact info is on the Find A Grave cemetery page and Graceland has their own web site as well ( It does appear even in my photo that there are empty spaces. However, nearly half (my estimate) of the burials in Graceland are unmarked, so that is not a reliable indicator. Also, sometimes the lot has been turned over to the cemetery trust. I think family would still have priority though. The cemetery is very happy to work with folks and are very helpful. But also there is very, very limited burial spaces left in the cemetery overall.
