I attached the photo and you are good to go with deleting the incorrect Find A Grave memorial. I also have sent you a message concerning his obit to be added. Thanks.

This may sound a little stupid, but are you related to the Cooley family? my great aunt is Verna Alene Foght and I was wondering if there is any relation?

I'm glad the information for John was shown to be correct. I wasn't sure. Glad I could be of assistance.

I have also uploaded photos and information from the cemetery records for Myron's wife Martha Clawson Bills. Their daughter Ina Bills and son John Bills. I thought they may be of interest to you as well

The dates on their markers are difficult to read. However, if my research is correct, I have made assumptions of their birth and death dates which seem to be the same date on the inscriptions.
Some of these sites you maybe already familiar with. The sources I have referenced are below:
DOB Oct. 7, 1876
DOD Nov. 16, 1882
John C. Bills
DOB Mar. 8, 1873
DOD Aug. 16, 1929
I trust I am correct, however, you may find more accurate information. If you do, please contact me and I will either make the correction or transfer them to you.

You are definitely justified in being excited abt finding John VanBrocklin's headstone - I had pretty much given up on the possibility of finding it or Philena's either, but your persistence paid off!
I am in a quandary about which cemetery to include his memorial in, given the strange set of circumstances, so if you will load the new photos (once you take them) to both cemeteries like you said, that will be good. I'll be very curious to hear what Irving Township has to say about the reburial, if there ever was one.
Sorry abt your battery situation - that happens to me too - very frustrating! The kind of odd thing abt the photos that are out there right now is that I can't get a larger image by clicking on them, like I usually can. Looking forward to the new photos and transcription of info on the headstone. And let me know if I need to go headstone hunting for you down here in Texas - I am greatly indebted to you. Thanks again for all your help!

That is great that you actually located John VanBrocklin's headstone! It was lucky that you noticed the Wickham monument and stopped - what good fortune. Kind of strange that they would take the trouble to move the bodies & not the headstones. If John VanBrocklin's body is actually in German Settlement Cem, maybe you could just load the headstone photo to that memorial & make a note regarding the location of the monument. (I already have linked family members to the J. VanBrocklin in German Settlement Cem, which actually has the correct birthdate - I think - 1819). Unfortunately, I am unable to read the name or dates on the photo that you loaded (guess the resolution is too low). Let me know if you find Philena's grave over there in Cheney too, because I created a memorial for her in Fuller Cemetery, based on some documentation I found that said she was buried there (but no one has ever posted a photo of her headstone there). It's all very confusing but I think you are on the road to solving this mystery. Thanks very much for all your help and persistence!
