I have been working on my family tree since the mid- 1990's. Most of my family tree is accessible on Rootsweb at:|
I also have a tree at ancestry.com.
Most of my Find a Grave entries are ancestors or kin, and I would be interested in contacting anyone who also is a descendant or kin.
I have added a whole bunch of unrelated entries from the Lochalsh Cemetery in Ashfield Township, Ontario. Since I suspect some of these may also be kin, or ancestors, I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has more information about them. I have also added a few apparently unrelated folks memorials, from cemeteries I have been to. I haven't really tried to "cover" any of these cemeteries, but while I was there walking, I snapped photos of graves that caught my eye. When I determined these weren't relatives and no one else had created a memorial for them, I did. I would be happy to transfer any of these memorials to anyon interested.

Very happy to help. You're welcome. I do have some other pictures that were not posted to include some general shot of the Cemetery. If you would like any other pictures of this please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org/genealogy
Have a very good day.

I recently discovered your family tree on Ancestry.com and was thrilled to find the resource from Robert Swink. I am a descendent of George McNutt in Knoxville, TN and lived on his family farm settled there in the late 1700's. George McNutt who married Sarah Ann Swink in Missouri was his grandson. There were 5 McNutts that I have found that ended up in the Festus area in Missouri. In Robert Swink's book he states that George and Sarah were both buried in the Gamel Graveyard. I noticed on findagrave that you have added her brother and sister with pictures. When you were there did you look for George & Sarah? I have added them to findagrave using Robert's book as a source but am curious where they are buried. I'm also looking for Georges nephew White McNutt who is also supposed to be buried there. Can you help with any other information?
Thanks so much for your time

You are correct, I thought I fixed it years ago, just did.
Thank you and Merry Christmas.

Do you have any record of another marriage of William's to Cora Sweezey 1870-1894 as Cora is buried in Bunkerhill Cemetery, Bunker Hill, Ingham, MI and they had a son Dee L.Dunham born 1891 married to Jessie N. Rhead b. 1894 (on Dec. 9, 1912 in Mason, Ingham, MI) ?

You're welcome! I'm glad I could help.

New Madrid may be less than 200 miles from Memphis. I am sure I can find the cemetery. The problem may be turning the stone over to get a picture and dates. I have just had 4 stones repaired and the cost was cheap (350.00) You might want to check a monument company in the area to see what the cost would be.
Do not know when I will be able to go, but will be glad to run over the next time I go to Union City or Fulton. It is not that far from there. I am retired and like to get out and roam. Nancy and I are not traveling as much as we did -- just do not want to hassle with the airlines. It is too expensive also. We like to go to Europe. Started trips there in 1969. Are you a member of the SAR or SCV? I am active in both organizations.
I am a retired banker. Was in banking just over 40 years. Been married 55 years. My email address is email@example.com.

Rick, John Allen was born 1826. I have this date that my grandfather< Jim Mott, wrote out for me-
9-5-1826. He did this for all the siblings.
Rick, John Allen Mott was a brother to James Mott. James was my great grandfather.
