|Sheila Parker Stone Benisek||RE: Todd Osborne|
The Todd Osborn connection....I haven't as of yet confirmed anything about this person. He/she is not on the Indian census. I have found one White man in the 1960's 0r 70's.
There is one Osborn in the family named Richard T Osoborn, but I can't figure the middle name. So nothing yet.
But I haven't yet done any background on the White Osborn settlers who this family group named themselves after out of respect and friendship.
This Todd might be His son.
|Sheila Parker Stone Benisek||RE: Willie Osborne is not Tillie|
Sorry for the delay in answering you properly. I have been researching the Osborn family for this last year. Its become a labor of love.
Love of my Granddaughter who is Eshom Bill and Tillie's 5th Great Granddaughter.
I recently connected with another decendant who is from the Maternal side (Tillie's) while we are from the Paternal side.
Bill and TIllie had one more son before he passed away. "Willie" was born a few months after Esham Bill's death. So my cousin has been looking for Willie and her he is.
Tillie is buried a bit farther down the hill Porterville or Woodlake or.... We're looking right now. In the meantime, I'm going to correct the grave information to reflect the right person.
I have so much information now, I'll begin updating as much as I can. I hope I can answer your questions too.
So much history for me. It's amazing.

I'd be happy to show you what I have discovered so far. Its interesting to note, the I had to look outside the realm of public records on Ancestry.
I finally began finding records from the USC Archives. One gold mine was a thesus written in 1948 with eye witness accounts that included "Esham Bill" or Co-O Po, Chief Osborne and his Wife Tillie. Plus Sons Bob and Sam.
I'm still plugging in information, but I'll send you some papers on it.
|Sheila Parker Stone Benisek||Willie Osborne|
I hope you will accept my updates For Willie Osborne. Her Name is actually Tillie Wilcox Osborne. Willie was her nickname.
She was the wife of Bill Osborne who was the princial Chief of the Wack-sa-che tribe (wachsachi) in Tulare Ca.
I am the wife of one of her 3rd great Grandsons. Through Bob Osborne, Authur Vale Osborne, and Juanita Osborne Stone.
I've done a lot of research on these two and I am delight to have finally confirmed these two buried around family. I will be writing some remarks to print here too.
|Suzanne Tucker McAlpin||RE: Allen Stroud|
Thank you so much ! Regarding the Strouds, I am always on the lookout for "proof" that it truly is Allen Stroud and his wife buried in my cemetery; I am only speculating at this time :) So, if you come across anything to help with that, it would be much appreciated !
