The goal is not to "own" every memorial of those to whom you are related. The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it. |
SUSAN LOST HER LIFE ON JUNE 29 2014 TO CANCER. SHE DID MOST OF THE WORK IN CREATING THE MEMORIALS FOR THIS SITE. SO PLEASE VISIT HER MEMORIAL#134125992 AND MAYBE LEAVE A THANK YOU IN HER HONOR.

Memorials? Are there any? I would love to see them if there are. This is all very confusing to me because I thought my grandfather was buried in St Mary's(?) cemetery in Torrington because both my parents are buried there in graves I thought were previously purchased by my grandfather and that he was there also. My grandmother's grave was always "missing"

I found the photo of the grave of Joseph and Victoria Lewis Wilkalis online today. They were my grandparents and I never knew where they were buried. I wish my father were still alive so he would know where is mother is. She died when he was a child.

You're welcome for the token on your wife's memorial.
I know we had contact several years ago. I haven't been to Lake Park in a long time. There are several photo volunteers in the area who are much closer to the cemetery than I am. I hope to go graving tomorrow with the weather so much nicer and no rain.

Hi again Sue and Rich! I left you a message many months ago when the ground was snow-covered and it was slightly colder than it is today!
I'm hoping on your next venture into Old St. Francis you can try and help pinpoint where you found that grave marker for Gaetanino (Caetanino, incorrect) Zampino, from 1909. I plan on coming home in a few months, and would love to be able to make a visit to his grave.
Thanks so much!
Here's my direct email if that helps: firstname.lastname@example.org
No I didn't know Sue, I just wanted to honor her.

Sue and Rich, I want to thank you so much for photographing the gravesite of my grandfather's little twin brother. I went looking for his gravesite years ago, based on my memories of my grandfather taking me to visit him, but could never trace the exact spot.
By any chance, do you recall the area of Old St. Francis where he is buried, or, even better, an approximate plot #?
Thank you so much, again. This is priceless to our family.
