Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been interested in my family roots for the last 40 years or so and was lucky enough to start questioning my grandparents before they had started to forget some of the details. Because I got married, worked, raised a family, etc. etc. I did not get a real good system going till I retired. Now, I think of nothing else. The internet has made life a lot easier and a lot of information available. However, don't make it too easy. Do not take someone else's research; use it only as a guide. There are too many errors out there.

I am mainly working on my line, my husband's line, and my son-in-law's line. So far, most of the ties are in Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, with one in England. Seems like most of our ancestors were in America before the Revolutionary War. I am researching names like ALSPACH,BAKER,BROWN,BUTLER,CRIDER,CRIST,EMRICK,FEIGHNER,FOGWELL,NICODEMUS,REAM (and that's just my line). - Keep searching and we'll all be one family -

Klines - Mt. Hope Cemetery IN

Hello from Karachi, Pakistan !

Excellent photos of some of my Klines interred in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Huntington County, IN. I'm especially interested in the photo of the Kline obelisk with seven gravestones facing it in a semicircle. Thanks to your other pix I was able to identify four of the gravestones. I cannot identify the two gravestones to the far left and the one gravestone to the far right. The one on the far right looks to be "John"; the one to the farthest left looks to be a Dungan.

Do you have any additional info on these?

Many Thanks,

Roy Kline

RE: Lawrence Family
I am thankful that we are as I have been truly blessed finding this site and all the information I have been getting that I didn't already have. I might include that I think I have about 5400 people in my database and so it gets harder and harder to find more information and it looks like I have found at least 100 - 150 new people that I didn't have information on.
Your work has truly blessed me. Thank you and wish we could get together sometime and compare what we each have.
I know this is late notice but our family is holding its 91st Lawrence Reunion this Saturday July 19th in Forest, Ohio at Gormley Park starting at 11AM. If there is any way that you can get there I would love to meet you.

I came across this Find A Grave thru and will be forever indebted to people such as yourself. I have been able to add so much information to my own personal database from these findings. Thank you so much.

Dear Terry,
It seems that you and I have both put up memorials for my 2nd great grandmother. #64814686 and # 73250091. It is obvious that one of us should remove theirs. I have done a great deal of research on the Crist line, and have a lot of photos. As I said, she is the mother of my great grandmother. How is she related to you? I suggest that the person who is the more closely related keep their memorial, and the other take theirs down.
What are your thoughts on this?
Sincerely, Suznitz
I see on your bio that you are also researching the surname BUTLER, which is my mothers maiden name! Perhaps we are related!
