My wife Terri and I no longer volunteer for Findagrave in Washington County Oklahoma. We will continue working on our family and friends. If we have entered a memorial of one of your loved ones, family or friend, let us know and we will always consider transferring to your care. Many of the volunteers in our area have lost interest in the work due to one individual. It is a shame. All of these volunteers have done a good job. None are perfect but have given of their time and effort to provide information for the many burials in this area. We are loyal supporters of Findagrave but we are all volunteers and the verbal, mental and email abuse we have all taken makes it not worth the effort.|

I believe that this may be my 3xs Great Grandmother. I would like to find out how you know that she is buried here? I am trying to find any information on her and her husband (my 3xs Great Grandfather Marcellus Stansberry) Could you please share any information you may have on them with me?
Thanks in advance!!

I just found that you and your wife will no longer volunteer for Findagrave in Washington County Oklahoma and that you will continue working on your family and friends. You and your wife have been a major influence in the genealogy arena not only creating memorials on findagrave but the websites that you had created before I ever found this site. You PERSONALLY visited these graves and entered the information with the up most care. Please do not transfer to anyone that is not a RELATIVE to the person in the memorial. I depended on you when you found a person had taken a picture of a stone in Dewey that was inscribed with my Uncle's name but his grave had been relocated. You knew this and notified me of the relocation; which I can not tell you how much that meant to me. Just know you are appreciated. I know your information is correct to the very best of your ability.

I have a picture of Daniel Bolender. He was my Great Great grandpa too. He was my grandmother's mother's father - Sadie Ashcraft. If you want I can upload a picture of him.

Richard, I can only imagine what you are talking about. I am thinking I have encountered that same person. A shame.
Anyway, I noticed there were a few that I had sent you some edits on, and I saw where you said you weren't going to be doing any further such things. I am not a family member, but I promise I would take good care of them and add new information if I find any, or if provided to me. I have some plot numbers and things to put on, for starters.
One was Willie Cox in Jesse Creek Cemetery, and I think there were others. If you look at your pending edits, you should be able to see them. It should show that I was the one who sent the edit. I would be happy to accept transfers of any of them.
My contributor number is 48190645
Thank you for your consideration.

I would like permission to use your photo on my Ancestry page.( There is ALWAYS ONE in every crowd as they say. I would not let ONE person take away my joy or my passion.) Thanks, Sandy

Hi did I ever respond to you? Jeremiah cemetery is on private land but I don't know if I can tell you exactly how to get there. I don't know the names of roads. If you go out past smelters and turn at a school by the highway, then go quite a ways. Heading toward the casino. Before you go up a big hill there will be a road that used to be dirt curving back right. At the very end of that road is the cemetery. It is on the property where the Edwards live. Hope this helps.

I read your message and it is sad that people are rude.. I just run across my G Uncle Ora West buried in Dewey Cemetery.. Is their any way that you can turn his headstone over to me?? I'm not very good on Find A Grave so forgive me if this is not the proper procedure. You have #47003541 as a reference number... I had got on Find A Grave as my G grand father that someone sponsored spelled his name wrong.. I went on after 2+ months to see if the lady had changed his name to what it should be and found she had not...I have all the data on his headstone and had went and took a pic of his headstone myself...I have all doc on the land he owned and his veterans pension from the civil war. So being she didn't change it, I'll just have to let it go.. I just don't like the fact that some people will come and take her info as being correct... I know you stated people do make mistakes. I asked her in a very nice way if? she could put his name down right.. My name is Nita Stolns and I have a tree on Ancestry called Stolns family tree new beginnings... Thank you for your kindness in reading this...

Thank you Richard. I can take care of it on my end if I'm the owner.
