PLEASE use the EDIT to ask for transfers, with your ID # and the PHOTO REQUEST if you want a photo of the stone for EACH person listed. I try to get other family near the one requested in case they are not already listed, but if they are already listed it is nice if you also request them. I print off the requests from the computer, and the "notes" don't show if you ask for other family members. You have my permission to use my photos of the stones for your family records.|
It is my wish that everyone is remembered, this is my way of helping make it happen. We all will make mistakes, I'm happy to make changes and transfer loved ones always hoping that you can add to their memorials. I just want to help, when I find more information and send an edit, it is sad when that isn't added. I am so thankful for the ones that put family of ours on, some we had no idea where were, so you can see what a blessing Find A Grave has been.
Today this seems to be the case- Author Unknown
An old man, a boy and a donkey were going to town. The boy rode on the donkey and the old man walked. As they went along the road they passed some people who remarked, "What a shame the old man is walking and the boy is riding." The man and boy thought maybe the critics were right, so they changed positions. Later they passed some people who remarked, "What a shame, he makes that little boy walk." So they then decided they'd both walk. Soon they passed some more people who remarked, "They're really stupid to walk when they have a donkey to ride." So they both rode the donkey. Now they passed some people who shamed them by saying, "How awful to put such a load on a poor donkey?" The boy and man figured they were probably right, so they decided to carry the donkey. As they crossed the bridge, they lost their grip on the donkey and he fell into the river and drowned. The moral to the story? If you try to please everybody, you might as well kiss your ass goodbye!
Having expressed this I have to say, most all of the people are easy to please. There are occasionally some who aren't, it is extremely hard to read people's minds. If you send information try to tell us how you want it added or used. It is really helpful if you send it directly to that persons memorial page, but I'll do my best to add & give credit to you however you get it to me. Thank you all who have sent links and info to make memorials more then just names and dates!

Sorry Luella for being so long in getting back to you.
Yes, Minnie was married to a HALL at the time of her death. Which I found on both her California and Social Security Death Index's. The California Death Index does show her mother's maiden name as CHILDERS.
I had also found one of her daughter's lived and passed away in the Southern CA area where Minnie had lived.
I haven't found anything so far as to what Mr. Hall's first name was.

Her parents are buried in Indiana, as is most of the family. She lived her life taking care of others, especially her cousin and his family. He died in 1941, and what she did after that is a mystery I would still like to solve. All in good time !!??!!
I will get the info together on her parents and siblings, hoping to connect their sites
I joined find a grave with the idea to make a site for my Dad, but here I am nearly 3 years later, nothing accomplished on that ...

Thank you soooo much for taking a photo of his grave. Would it be to much to ask if you took any other photos in the cemetery?
|Brian Porter||Seneca newspaper obits|
You noted on several tombstones obituaries from the Seneca newspaper. Is there an online version of these obituaries? If so where can they be found? Thanks for all you do! Brian Porter
