Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm Pam.
I live in Stillwater, OK.
I love doing research on Payne County, Oklahoma and surrounding counties.

Due to the death of DonZas, I am managing the memorials in Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater that he posted. I will be keeping all of the memorials that are in my family tree. And, believe me, there are alot of them.

However, if you wish for me to transfer a memorial to you, send EACH request through the "EDIT" - "SUGGEST A CORRECTION" Link on EACH person's memorial. Please allow time, because I get alot of requests each day.

REMEMBER the Find-A-Grave RULE states:
Transfer requests should be for DIRECT RELATIVES WITHIN FOUR GENERATIONS. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Uncle, Aunts, Cousins, nephews, mother's brother's first cousins, well, these don't count as a direct relative. And, yes, this part is included in the rules.

E-mail me if you have a question or if you have a request that I haven't already uploaded.

I have 2 books called "Cimarron Family Legends" vol 1 and 2. These books contain information that has been compiled by families that settled all around Stillwater and the surrounding towns of the Cimarron River in Payne County. I can look up information on families if you will send me the family name and any other information that I can use. Just e-mail me with the request.

Also, I have photographed and transcribed Ripley Oak Park Cemetery and Mt. Hope Cemetery near Ripley, OK. I don't transfer these memorials, but I will add the information and links if you ask me.

Mispelling of Zachariah Clary

Dear Pam,

In response to your message stating: "I have replied to you several times. ty"

Please view my message board. I have no other replies from you. The only other reply I have from you is dated June 15th asking for proof. After that message, I provided at lease 5 valid references proving that the name Zachariah is misspelled.

Please review the following and make the needed corrections or let me know otherwise.

All 7 of the Ancestry.com Member Trees have it spelled Zachariah. A public member story on Ancestry.com written by Clarence William Clary in 1970 has Zachariah. The 1880 census has Zachariah. The 1870 census has a nickname Gac(?). The 1860 census has Zacariah which I'm thinking was a misspelling by the census taker. A 580 page well documented book "Clary Genealogy" by Ralph & Star Rowland written in 1982 has Zachariah. I have a copy of the book. The 1840 Illinois marriage record to Harriet Wagoner shows the spelling Zachariah. The name appears in the Bible as a prophet and is spelled Zachariah.

Thanks,
Bill

Delete earlier message...
I apologize! I should never have posted that angry message... I tend to get too sensitive when attempting to deal with negative characters on this web site... Please delete it if you can... Know that the matter has been taken care of and Wealthy's memorial remains in caring hands...until a close relative should request transfer...
Be blessed!

Photos copied...
Thank you for your heads up. Yes, this individual keeps pestering me, but I've told her no... She has made a duplicate memorial page and now says I demanded she delete it...Not true. I reminded her to check-out the Find A Grave guidelines...
Yes, It is too bad when it comes other folks on this site 'stealing' our photos and having to have a copy right symbol on all our photos...after all, most of these photos are personal property and covered by copyright law...
Have a blessed day!

Wealthy Missouri Hurst
Pammy, I saw where you posted a picture of the gravestone for Wealthy Missouri Jones Hurst in Oak Park, Cemetery in Chandler. I believe this is a photo that you uploaded from Ancestry that I posted to my tree in 2007. Find A Grave rules state that you should only post pictures that you have taken. It is easy to see that it is the same pic since the dandelions in the picture are clear markers of same day, same place, same pic. Please remove the photo that you posted. I have posted the original to a new memorial. Thank you, Jeanna Jones Newton

Ellis Family of Ingalls/Payne County
Hi Pam:

I saw where you posted the story about Frank L. Ellis. I have been trying to find some information, obits etc., concerning Frank's father, William David Ellis: 1864 - 1935, who lived in Payne County from about 1900 and is buried in Ingalls cemetery. Also his sister Emma D. Ransdell:1858 - 1928, buried in Fairlawn, Stillwater, OK. Any leads or help would be appreciated.

Best,

M.R. Ellis (mrellis64@gmail.com)

Relation inquiry
I see that you posted a photo on Wealthy's F-A-G memorial page. Are you related? Memorial # 46934380.
I've received a request for transfer and from looking at this individual's managed memorials I do not see that he is related. Before I transfer I wanted to contact any possible family members and see if they are interested...

Please get back to me soon.

Thank you.

Correction
Sorry...I have a correction to make to my last message. Jake was buried someplace in California (I haven't found him yet either). Aaron O'Bryant (known as Whitey) was married to Laura and lived his entire life in Cushing and most probably would have been buried at Fairlawn in Cushing.
