Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Phoenix Arizona. My sister got me addicted to this genealogy stuff and really is the unsung hero. She has been compiling family stuff for over 20 years and putting this all together on PAPER (I shudder at the thought of the time and trees...)

I am constantly amazed by how many people are willing to help! What an amazing and giving group of folks here on FindAGrave! Thanks to you all!

Feel free to use any of the Headstone pictures that I've taken for any reason. That's why I do this! On the other hand, do not use the personal or family pictures that I've posted here on other sites - ever! Also, please do not use the personal or family pictures that I've posted on *other* sites here - very against the rules!

4-29-2014 This government site will send you a free medallion for your veteran's headstone, if it is not marked as a vet. Easy to fill out form -

2-7-2015 Still here, my tree is growing and I love this site! Thank you, again, to all who make this site what it is!

John F Cook connections
Hi Deborah,

I'm beginning to come across more records for this Cook connection in my tree, and I'am fairly certain the John F. Cook (141331659) I edited with info is the wrong John F. Cook for my family.

I have already detached daughter Cecelia (Haggerty) from him, so that I can add her to the correct John Cook as soon as I find him!! It might be a good idea to delete the spouse and children info I sent you. When I find more death cert. with confirming facts I'll pass it on to you!

Thanks so much for your work here! It makes such a difference to so many trying to piece their families together!

Thank you,

George Thornton Bennett #141334009
I enjoy reading old newspapers (Library of Congress website) and trying to match up the people in the stories and articles to the memorials here on F-A-G. I have found a heartwarming story about George Bennett and his two brothers, Lewis and John. I thought you might enjoy reading it. I wish the picture was a little clearer.

RE: Thank You!
Aw, Deb! Thank you for taking the time to say so. I appreciate your kind words. I certainly don't do this for the kudos, but it's nice to hear. :-) Thanks for making my day.

Philomena Dreegar
Deborah, I uploaded my photo of Philomena's headstone. I'm sorry it's not a better photo. Perhaps someone could get a better one that is not obstructed by grass. Let me know if that happens, and I'll delete mine from the record. Sorry it took me so long ... Ellen

RE: William and Maggie Taylor
Well now, that's interesting. A shared monument usually indicates they were family, but I guess they could have been really close friends or neighbors. But the Taylors and Schempfs even have matching individual grave markers -- looks to me like family! If you are interested in pursuing an answer to this mystery, the cemetery office might be able to help you.

Good luck :)

You're welcome -- it was a beautiful day and I enjoyed getting out. If you click on one of the pictures you can read the caption explaining the layout of the Taylor/Schempf graves.

Robert Aldinger 141353590
Hi, I sent you edits for Robert Aldinger's parents as I believe them to be. Please feel free to decline the edits. Based on my research, William Henry Aldinger married Julia Perkes/Pirkas/Perkis about 1900. (See the 1910 census for members of the household in ED 234 of Philadelphia 2104 Callowhill Street.) The Stella Perkis listed there is my grand aunt, married to Julia's son John.

The maiden name of Guyerson came from the Philadelphia Death Certificate of Julia & John Perkes' son, Charlie; born 1896 & died 1906.

Thank you for your consideration,
