Bio and Links
Bio Photo I took over after my Aunt Geraldine Martinez passed. This is all new to me but I have become addicted in finding where my family members rest. No one should be forgotten.

I was born in Alexandria, Virginia and now resides in Florida.

I am researching, on my fathers side of the family, Rhodes, Walters, Wright & Brockman in Virginia. On my mothers side, Lytle, Channing, Hayden & Moore in Pennsylvania. And for my Grandchildren, Greene, Caudill. Hutchinson & Vallance's in Kentucky.

I have noticed that I am not the only one impatient with the tokens coming up and I end up with two. I found that if you click on the flowers it will take you to a link to delete the extra one. =)

I have also found a link to calculate birth dates, so when you only have a date of death & the headstone gives you their years it will give you the date of birth.

I have met the most wonderful people with Find-a-Grave. What a great family we have here. Thank you all for doing what you do.

Everyone has been so generous with their photos that I would like to reciprocate. You may use my photos in you family trees. All I ask is for a thank you and recognition from whom you got them.

Happy Hunting =)

Strangers in the Box

By Pamela A. Harazim

Come, look with me inside this drawer,
In this box I've often seen,
At the pictures, black and white,
Faces proud, still, serene.
I wish I knew the people,
These strangers in the box,
Their names and all their memories
Are lost among my socks.
I wonder what their lives were like.
How did they spend their days?
What about their special times?
I'll never know their ways.
If only someone had taken time
To tell who, what, where, when,
These faces of my heritage
Would come to life again.
Could this become the fate
Of the pictures we take today?
The faces and the memories
Someday to be tossed away?
Make time to save your pictures,
Seize the opportunity when it knocks,
Or someday you and yours could be
The strangers in the box.

RE: Thank You
I transferred Priscilla to your care. I'm not family. If you figure out where she is buried, you can move her to her 'final' resting place. Good luck with your research.

You left flowers on this burial.

I just added and linked his daughter if interested. I'm not family.

Hello everyone,

Would anyone have any information on "Alexander Carroll" Father of "John Aloysius Carroll"? From Ireland/England 1800's

I am going to say that she is buried at Green Ridge, since she has a stone there. But I have seen ladies who were married twice that have stones next to both husbands.

RE: Rodes
Of course you may use the photos - they are not mine but were found on the DAR website for Waynesboro, Virginia.

I think we may be related as I am also attached to the Rodes. I have DNA proof to Sarah Harris who was married to John Rodes II who was the grandson of Charles Rodes. Sarah was the daughter of Robert Overton Harris & Mourning Gleason Glenn. They were my 8th GGrandparents - she my 7th Great Grand Aunt.

If you're related, perhaps we can share trees...mine is private as well.

So nice to meet you - potential Cuz!
