I'm beginning to think I like dead people better than live people.|
Don't laugh, but I have this strange "ability" I call my 'Cemetery Sense'...I can go into a cemetery I've never visited before, searching for a family member and having no idea where they are buried, and 8 times out of 10, walk right up to their grave.
I think they want to be found. It's weird.
The other 2 times out of 10? I figure I'm not listening hard enough.

Thank you so much for locating and posting the information for my Great-Grandfather, who has been one of my challenges for a long time. I wonder what he was doing in Michigan? In any event, your work has been enormously helpful and I wanted you to know you are appreciated.

Thank you for Leah's obituary. She is my Great-aunt and trying to find family information was like pulling teeth. I saw that you already added me as a findagrave friend so are you related to her also, thanks, bob

|runner9||Cleveland Calvary Request|
Just a friendly mid June reminder that we need plot info to fill your Cleveland Calvary request(s). We have less than 500 requests left but plot info for only 6% of those, having already filled the rest with plot info. We can't ask for plot info for more than 3 requests per week. Please call (216) 641-7575 and obtain plot info. We'd really appreciate it and will fill your request(s) soon after getting plot info. Thank you!

Not trying to nag, just FYI that we've cleared over 200 requests this spring and now have 626 requests—fewer than there were in June, 2012. We'd be happy to clear your request(s) but some/all do not have plot information. Please call (216) 641-7575 and obtain plot information. We most likely already have a plot map but will let you know once we have plot info if we also need a map. Thanks!

Thanks, so much, for the transfers. Best regards, Jan
I've transferred both Charles Sylvester & Zelman C. Pringey's memorials to you, happy they will be honored through their family now.
Hope you enjoyed the Holiday Season,
You've put in a request at Calvary in Cleveland. I'm starting to plan a trip there in the spring or late winter. With 400,000 burials and 300 acres, if you can obtain plot location AND a plot map from the office (unless it's posted here: http://tinyurl.com/cepkrmb) I can try to take the photo when I go in the spring. Phone number is: (216) 641-7575
You can try to tell them you'll be visiting when they're closed, etc. I know one person who they mailed a plot map to. If you get one let me know and I'll give you my e-mail address. Without this info you're sadly unlikely to get it filled. If I can get info for many it will be worth the 25 minute trip to try to cut down the 759 requests.

I saw you listed Eddie and Lena Hinkle in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron. Are you related? Lena was my great-grandmother's first cousin.
|Jan Good||Joshua T Barbur (Barber)|
I stopped by the Barber Cemetery today. Joshua T Barbur is my great grandfather. In photographing the gravestone, and looking closely at the stone the spelling on the name on the stone is Barbur. I wondered if you had any information about variations in the spelling?
