I became interested in my family's history about 15 years ago. Since then I've located many relatives, some living, most not, mainly through internet research. My family lines are Wilder, Watson, Pearson, Howell, Hazel, Marberry, Young, and Robinson. Several distant cousins who found me online very generously gave me the Hazel family Bible with the names of my forefathers inscribed in it & a Hazel photo album of my ancestors.Prior to receiving those, I hadn't known the names of my Hazel ancestors, much less what they looked like! What gifts they were!|
I have also worked on my husband's family tree and the main surnames in his tree are Lane, Bryant, Shepherd, Barnett, Potts, Armstrong, Killick & White-West. Working on these lines with other family members (Sue!) has cemented lifelong friendships that I cherish.
For me, the last chapter of documenting an ancestor's life is finding their final resting place and hopefully, getting a photograph of their grave. It is my way of honoring them and preserving their memory for generations to come.
Find-a-Grave has been such a great tool in completing the stories of so many of my ancestors. Many wonderful volunteers have provided photographs for me and I hope to be able to do the same for others. Any photographs I have posted on findagrave may be used without permission or any credit given. The more people who share the photos the longer our departed loved ones will be remembered!
I have been married for over 30 years. I have 3 adult children, and 1 shelter dog. Now that my kids are grown and on their own I am able to devote more time to what I love to do - work on my family tree! They all think I'm a little over the top with my passion for genealogy, and I would have to say, I agree with them!

Noticed you covered quite a few Lane/Rood graves in Arkansas at Bethel Cemetery. Is that a part of your family line also, or just a cemetery you covered? I have a lot of information on the Lane family that I can give you if you need it.

Hello! Couldn't help but notice that you have a date of marriage way before she was even born. Thought you might want to fix it. I have an Arkansas, County marriage index with the date of 13 Nov 1886. (Nashville, Howard, Arkansas. Thank you so much for all you do with findagrave.
Also how are you related to the Howell's. I am also related to them.

I saw you had listed the parents after I had sent you the message. Sorry about that!
I can not find any record of Charles Riley Williams and Sarah Angeline Copeland's burial.

|GMT||Henry Toler Brown link to Annie|
I am going to link Henry Toler Brown # 21928294 to Annie Mae Finley Brown # 120238349, but the Brown family in Marysville, Yuba County, California has been somewhat confussing. There was a lot with the same childrens names, all born around the same time. I did re-do Annie's memorial and hunted around for some of her children. The dates the cemetery records have and those in Ancestry.com family tree are off on the death dates for Alexander Brown and young Henry who are in the Marysville cemetery as is Annie. The 1910 Marysville census does show that the father Henry was born in California and by his age then, birth year was 1860.If this is the right Henry you have asked to be linked to Annie maybe you can edit his birth year and birth place on his memorial, and do a photo request.
