Bio and Links
Bio Photo Any memorial page I have created I have a picture of the headstone.

If you want a photo officially request one, don't bury your request in a spouse or another family members photo request.

Too many volunteers are now asking for other volunteers to do their research, please try and do your own on your time.

I take responsibility ONLY for the information obtained from the headstone unless otherwise specified by me. There are very few exceptions.

Due to the changes and procedures for adding addition information it is very time consuming to include the source. Find A Grave DOES NOT provide a way to show where the information comes from.

In light of these changes and the automated edit system, which makes it almost impossible to deny acceptance of changes and addition, I have been transferring all memorial pages to those wishing to make edits. This too has become too time consuming.

Therefore, in order to include the changes whether the information is CORRECT OR NOT I feel I am being forced to accept all edits. I hate this part because I have had quite a few people send edits only to resend two or three times in order to make corrections.

If you find errors send corrections but do not, I repeat DO NOT ask me about the information posted or hold me responsible for the additions. This goes against all genealogical best practices, but the only other solution would be to take down all the memorials and pictures I have posted.

If you find an error, double listing or double picture please let me know so I can correct the problem.

I have in the past used a picture of the cemetery gate/sign with "Office couldn't locate a burial for this person" imprinted on it. If you get this posting and do find a picture of you persons tombstone, let me know and I will remove it.

Charles H. Thomas gravestone photo
Dear Karen,
Thank you so much for your time and effort in photographing Charles' gravestone area. I really appreciate it. Is his stone the visible flat cement marker in between the yellow letters you added to the picture?
May I have your permission to use your photo in my online family tree? I will credit you for the photo.

Hi Karen,
I appreciate your time and effort to get this picture very much.
He lived in Clay County, Minnesota at one time and I'm working on a memorial for all the CW Vets who lived there. I've already linked there from the web site but now the headstone is available, thanks to you.
