Bio Photo "The richness of life lies in memories we have forgotten." -- Cesare Pavese

I love visiting cemeteries, ever since I can remember. Sometimes when I visit a cemetery and gaze over the area, I'm awe-struck by the number of souls who have walked this soil before me. Sometimes when I visit, I'm confronted by a dog who wants my lunch and when given it, becomes my friend for life. And sometimes when I visit a cemetery, I feel like I'm apartment hunting.

Forgive me if I make memorial errors or procedural mistakes. Please let me know of my errors and I'll gladly correct them. I'm just an old lady who's trying her best.

Thank you for your kindness and compassion...

Thanks for taking the photo of Earl Young's marker and making a memorial for his brother LeRoy. Do they share a marker with Harvey and Mary Young? I'm thinking by looking at the photos that it is the same marker. Do you remember?

RE: Tonica Cemetery
I deleted the 395 Memorial I had enter in the wrong Cemetery, IE Brookside, and will wait for the merger to reenter them, I have the excel program for them. It would have nice if they had put up a sign for Brookside. Thanks for the heads up on this. One of my thoughts is they should have an easier why to put unreadable Markers in the Cemetery than one at a time that way people would know that there are more Markers than we entered.

Tonica Cemetery
We never heard the south side cemetery called Brookside where did the information come from? 2nd How many Pictures do you have? I took Pictures of every Marker in both sides and if you are going to put Pictures in I will cease my effort and move on. I can see why the name Brookside because a creek runs by the ESE side of it. Thought it was strange that no Markers on the south side had been entered. Not looking forward to deleting some 300 memorials. Thanks for the information and let me know about the pictures you have.

Old Cedar Point Cemetery
I was able to get permission to take Pictures in the above Cemetery so check them out. It appears that the picture on the main page of this Cemetery may not be of this Cemetery. The marker are to close together and don't match what I found. The Cemetery is located on the bluff over looking Cedar Creek on private property. As it turned out our Son went to School with the owner of the property on which he does trail rides and boards others Horses.
