Jun 14, 2004. My name is Bobbie. I was born in East Chicago, Indiana. Grew up in NW IN. Got married & have four kids. I moved to GA in 1994.|
My father was from Independence, MO & mother from Barnardsville(Asheville), NC.
My great grandmother (MO) kept great family notes(she had 15 children)and wrote her own family book, which my great aunt updates ever year now, she is the last one living out of the 15. My dad, Victor Long(1931-2004), was into genealogy & I became interested when my great-grandmother sent me my first family book in 1986.
Back then, of course, inquiries were done by snell-mail.
I get excited when I find a new link in my family lines, so I also enjoy helping others find theirs.
My "virtual cemeteries" are all of my family/ancestors.
I appreciate any comments, advice, & correction requests (Everyone makes a mistake sometimes).
*If you want me to link family plz...plz send me the memorial number....
*most of my memorials are my own family, so a possible transfer is not likely.
* a memorial of someone born over 100 yrs ago is probably out of FAG guideline of family transfers.

Hello and wow, I may run into lots of people that I am related to here on find a grave. I will have to read what I posted to Rita. I am not as sharp at remembering things any more. Well, age 66 sneaks up on lots of people if we are lucky. Carol and I have been corresponding for many years searching trying to find William Gill's birth parents. But I just like she had to give up. I have had quite a few successes with this web site. I am not trying to gain numbers just find it to be another source for finding some ancestors. I babysit for 3 of my grandchildren, and I have lots of them. My dad has been gone since 1997, still miss him and mom. Thank you for welcoming me to this community. Are you a twin? Dad talked a little about knowing some of the first family of his dad's, and Tobe is one of them, he did not remember much or very often talk of family. I know I met Uncle George, but haven't been to Arkansas since I was age 7. Grandma was such a sweetheart (Mary Lou or Lucinda?) Anyhow please keep in touch when you can I am always excited to know more of ancestors. May not remember it all but that is why they made paper and pens. I get teased alot about my lists. Grandma got a list for everything. Glad to hear from you.

Hi There Cousin!
If I'm understanding your note correctly I am also from William Taylor's line thru his sone Allen then his son Jedediah. Jed & Catherine had a daughter Lillian May Taylor who is my biological grandmother. Lillian and Ben Allen gave up my mom for adoption but are on her birth certificate. I wish I could have met them. But we found my moms brother Bill Allen & his family (before he died) and a half sister Catherine who is still living.
I was surprised to see your note since I've not been on this site for a long time nor expect to be much in the future. (I was actually looking for my grandmothers grave in Longview memorial Cemetery in Washington but it does not come up) So feel free to email me if you wish at email@example.com. I'd love to hear whatever you'd like to share about the Taylor line.
