"What Makes You Think We Are Related?"
I enjoy working on my family genealogy and discovered Find a Grave to now help others. 90%+ of all my entries are entered from photos I have taken. I also cross reference some with Cemetery or Genealogy records, adding information for families to discover.
I have no problem maintaining memorials. If you are related within the FAG guidelines and want the memorial transferred, send me an edit. This is found by clicking on the EDIT tab at the top right of the memorial.
If I have made any errors or you have information you want me to add, Biographical sketches are welcomed, please also send me an edit so that I can correct/add them. Feel free to add an IMPROVED photo. I have learned that no matter what the light is like you can never get all great pictures. Please ask to use photos on another site or personal use.
My travels so far have included WA, OR, VT, NV, ID, MT, FL, LA, MS, British Columbia and who knows where next!! We just started our retirement travels to see the USA.
I photograph when I see the need. There is a team currently working on photographing the HUGE Fairmount Cemetery in Spokane Washington, 10/2016. Let me know if you are interested in helping. We are over 1/2 done! There are some that are photographing the sections in Riverside Cemetery in Spokane. If you can do one let me know and I will keep track of what is done. So far Wisteria, Mars, Bluebell and Saturnia sections are done and part of Tulip, Hyacinth and Lily and Poppy. Thanks Sue Tanner. I am now travelling but am based in Washington State.
Thank you all for this site and all of you that are doing great works here.

I noticed you posted a photo of a gravestone for Nancy, Find A Grave #18898365, taken on 6-20-12. The stone was reset on a new foundation. It looks like there is another stone on the same foundation behind the original stone. Can you tell me what that stone is or if it has a connection to Nancy? It is good to see that someone has taken care of this. Thank you.

Hi Rosalie! You're very welcome. Several months ago at the downtown branch of the library I ran across a book called something like "Veterans of Spokane Wa"
It lists all the veterans from here who fought in Spanish - American War, Mexican War, Indian Wars, Civil War, & both World Wars.
I know that sometimes finding proof of an ancestor fighting during one of the wars is difficult to find.
I thought maybe I can help one person with a note that their ancestor fought in one of our wars.
Hence, my Edits for "he was a Veteran of . . . "
I took photos of the whole book. That is what I will be working on.
Waiting impatiently for Spring.((sigh))
We've had such nice weather recently.
Hope your fall/winter Holiday Season is fun. Let me know if I can help you with anything. Sue

First, thank you for carrying on the work of helping people find their loved ones through cemetery memorials!
I see that you have listed our "Cousin Margaret", as she was fondly known in our extended family (she was a daughter of my Great Uncle Lewis Beecher Parr). Is there any way you can note that she actually did live to the age of 100 (21 Jul 1886-Oct 1986)? It seems people with other trees think that the death year on her grave marker is 1936 - probably thinking "surely it couldn't be 1986". She was a lovely lady, whom I met and corresponded with for many years, and I remember when she died. Someday I would like to write a more detailed memorial for her, but can't do it right now.
I see that Margaret's husband, Russell Smith Reid (28 July 1884-18 Dec 1957) is also at Mountain View. I wonder if their daughter, Margaret Virginia (Reid) Edwards (15 Jan 1917-December 2012) is there also? They also had 2 sons, Gordon and Robert, but I'm still trying to find out more about them.

I believe it was the Potter's section. Best guess after all these years

Hi, thanks for doing the edits for the Arnoldts. I love seeing the families get linked together. So sad to see all the little ones this family lost!!
I am wondering, though, if "Male Arnoldt" is the same as "Richard M. Arnoldt" #106911417 ???

Hi! Sounds like him. I will try looking him up using Lewis. Thanks sue
