Bio Photo My husband says I spend too much time in graveyards, doing genealogy and on the computer. Maybe he's right.
My favorite cemeteries are Mount Hebron in Winchester, Virginia, and Rock Creek in Washington, D. C.

- When I started contributing to Find A Grave the following was listed under FAQs:

What are your naming conventions?
Naming conventions:
Unless the legal name contains a hyphen, punctuation, including the () and /, should not be included in the memorial name. Full capitalization (ALL-CAPS) of names should not be used, whether it be surname or the full name.

- I see that they have changed their FAQs to the following:

What are your naming conventions?
Naming conventions:
Unless the legal name contains a hyphen, punctuation, including the () and /, should not be included in the memorial name. Periods are to be used after initials, as in normal English. Full capitalization (ALL-CAPS) of names should not be used, whether it be surname or the full name. Suffixes and Prefixes do not belong in any name field.

- I am adhering to what was the convention on Find A Grave when I first checked FAQs. Rather than change over 18,000 memorials, I will stick with the original rule.

Thank you for posting the commemorative headstone Casper Rinker's descendents erected. Is the original still there?

George William Corbin; Memorial #60048850
I am curious as to your source for the name of Susan as the mother of George.

Ancestry has a marriage record for John W. Corbin, dated 09 Sep 1859, in Fauquier County, Virginia. His spouse is listed as Juliett Ann Hewitt.

John Corbin, age 23, is found on the 1860 federal census for Fauquier County, Virginia. His wife is listed as Julia A. Her age is given as 17. They were married within the year. Their son, George W., is three months of age.

Hi. Is the last name Coward or Cowart? There are separate memorials under the Cowart name. Can you please let me know which name it should be? Thanks, Anne

Emma Twiggs Mason Wheaton
Find A Grave Memorial# 146150764

In an edit for the bio of her mother you sent:

Richard and Elizabeth had three daughters:
Emma Twiggs Mason Wheaton (17 October 183616 February 1864)

=====
My question - the date of death is contradicted by the memorial page you have created for Emma.

Re Lillian Wise Hunter
She was not born in 1851. Had to have been 1853 or 1854 per her first two census records plus 1851 conflicts with her brother Jerome. The 1880 census is wrong on the year; most people of the day had at least one census that had incorrect info. (Jerome's gravestone is known.)

Thank you so much for the Rambler article about connections and background with the Temple Smith home. That area around Towlston Grange, the Old Union Church and Bellview Road has a lot of fengshui. Isn't it possible that the Old Union Church is itself the remnant of Jeremiah Moore's Difficult Run Baptist church? Time to break out the historical markers.AlPol.
