Tombstone photos and cemetery listings posted here are a part of the Greene County, PA Archives Project at www.GreeneConnections.com.|
Postings combine my own research and that shared with the GC archives. My family has been in Greene County, PA for over 200 years on all lines of my tree. My top priority is photographing and accurately transcribing local tombstones. As I am able, I am adding family links and details.

Hi" Added Mary Jewell Harden's dc to your Find A Grave Memorial. I believed Mary E. Harden was the former Mary E, Lape that had married James Harden in Fayette County in 1898 but thie Mary Harden that died in 1907 isnot any relation to ouir family. Ya might care to update the memorial now that the dc is attached. PS: I like your Grrene County Connections. If you have any LAPE surnames let mwe know, ok? email@example.com

Unfortunately, I am not related as far as I know. A lot of the people buried in the cemetery are related to me though, so I have a great interest in the West Finley Cemetery. The man who keeps the records for it has recently allowed me to take pictures of the internment records (which I'm extremely grateful for), and I am trying to work through them so that everyone buried there has a memorial. If you would like me to send you a copy of the page with Ivie's information, I would be happy to! -Chelsea

Thank you so much for the information about this site. I had not seen it. What a treasure. I can't thank you enough.

I have some information that James Mason and his wife Mary Sayers were buried in South Ten Mile Baptist Cemetery in Holbrook, Greene, Pennsylvania. I found several Ross family members in the cemetery, but have not found James and Mary. Do you have any idea if there are graves there that have not been recorded? The information I have is:
b. 26 Sept 1784 County Tyrone, Ireland
d. 12 June 1869 Greene County, Pennsylvania
b. 9 July 1788 New Jersey
d. 9 Feb 1883 Greene, Pennsylvania
Their children are Elizabeth, William, Mary, George,Charlotte, John Mason
Thanks for any help.

I was wondering if there are any additional Kents buried in Lantz Cemetery. I am specifically looking for the graves of Michael Inghram (M.I.) Kent who died in November 1952, and his wife Mary K. Snyder Kent. Thank you!
Candice, Thank you for adding the links. WPM

The dates you provided match the dates I had on John so I've updated his memorial with information about his military service. I was hoping that his headstone had some additional prooof, but I guess we are lucky that you could even read the name and dates.
Thanks so much for the help you provided to identify John's memorial and connect him to his military service.
I have located the graves of many soldiers from Greene County who served in the 18th Pennsylvnai Cavalry. Keep me in mind if you run across any additional gravesites. There is a link to my cemetery on John's memorial.

I have processed the edit you sent for Myra McVay. If she is related to you please let me know and I'll transfer her to you. My wife, daughter and I are in the process of adding all the memorials and pictures we can to complete Centennial Cemetery as much as possible. We've taken hundreds of photos there but have not got them all entered yet. Thanks Tom.

Thank you. The work you do is really impressive. I'm new to all of this, but feel a need to "connect the dots" and match these graves to the right people and families.
