Many years ago, with family album in hand, I started a journey to find my ancestors. It has been a joyous adventure. I am amazed by the number ancestors. Although I have not found any rascals or famous people. I have found them to be the salt of the earth. I have came to love each and every one for their special place in this life, and I am always searching, never ending, searching for more.|
If by chance you should be related to any of my listed names I would love to hear from you. I am always looking for pictures, documents, and grave sites.
Linda Hollowell-Bock (Grigg)
Those wanting a transfer of family to you, please ask, will transfer unless a part of my own family tree.
To my Dearest beloved Mother..
Your gentle face and patient smile
With happiness we recall
You had a kindly word for each
And died beloved by all.
The voice is mute and stills the heart,
That loved us well and true,
Ah, bitter was the trial to part
From one so good as you.
You are not forgotten loved one,
Nor will you ever be,
As long as life and memory last
We will remember thee.
We miss you now our hearts are sore,
As times go by we miss you more,
Your loving smile, your gentle face,
No one can fill your vacant place.

You are welcome. I will be glad to transfer Samuel, Lena, & Ray Hollowell if you would like. If I go back to the cemetery I will make a note to get a close-up of Samuel & Lena's so you can see the dates. They had lots of flowers.
Sorry I could not locate William Hollowell.

|Linda Bange||related to Grigg family|
Hi! My name is Linda Plummer Bange and I am related to you through my father's side of the tree. Dollie Ann Grigg, who married Benjamin Bougher, is my 1st cousin, twice removed through her mother, Mary Sarah Moore. One of Mary Sarah's sisters also married into the Grigg family. In fact, they has a double wedding. Very interesting family. My mother's twin sister, who will be 98 on Jan 14, lived in Fairland, OK most of her life. You can reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org. The first character is a lower case letter L. I would love to hear from you!
Thank you for sharing the above poem with us.

|Gary Love||Photo of Mary Ellen Love|
I'm Gary Love - born in 1952 to David K. Love, son of Charles B. Love of Wichita, then Springfield, and finally So. California.
I've been compiling data for the family of Fred C. Love of Wichita (and later Springfield and Jefferson City, MO). Just recently freed up more time to work on this but still getting ready to formalize things on ancestry.com. I found your recent photo of Mary Ellen Love buried at Maple Grove Cemetery - and other family members. She is the sister of Charles B. Love, my grandfather. I knew him well until he died when I was around 14. In 1986, I was in Missouri and succeeded in finding my great-grandmother, Esta Love who married the widowed Fred C. Love in Springfield. I had a wonderful chat with her a few months before she died and that's what got me started on family history.
I am 99% sure that Fred was born 10 years earlier than his cemetery and Death Certificate show and was probably adopted by Charles B. Love and Mary Johnson Love in Norwalk Ohio. I have found 3 different birth years for Fred and the one that matches census records in Norwalk is 1868 - along with a Springfield Newspaper clipping that reports his age to be consistent with 1868.
Thanks for your work on the Fred Love family.

|D L Whiting||Alexander J Deatherage & Minerva Clayton|
Linda Thank you so much for your contributions to
so many persons families. Alexander and Minerva Clayton Deatherage are my great grandfather and grandmother. Although they had 4 daughters and only one son Richard Bird, He and "Lou" Cross my grandparents continued 0n the Deatherage-Clayton family lines. I think it is important to know where you come from
God Bless you and all.
Thanks for your years of research

Michael WHITMIRE is my 7th Great. In his Memorial, you state that he is NOT the Michael WHITMIRE of Maryland or Philadelphia. Arlee Gowen, in her "The Whitmire Manuscript" has referenced research to the contrary. How much of what she has referenced are you refuting? (I'm working from her "'Page' 002".)
