Bio and Links
Bio Photo Many years ago, with family album in hand, I started a journey to find my ancestors. It has been a joyous adventure. I am amazed by the number ancestors. Although I have not found any rascals or famous people. I have found them to be the salt of the earth. I have came to love each and every one for their special place in this life, and I am always searching, never ending, searching for more.

If by chance you should be related to any of my listed names I would love to hear from you. I am always looking for pictures, documents, and grave sites.
Linda Hollowell-Bock (Grigg)

To my Dearest beloved Mother..

Your gentle face and patient smile
With happiness we recall
You had a kindly word for each
And died beloved by all.

The voice is mute and stills the heart,
That loved us well and true,
Ah, bitter was the trial to part
From one so good as you.

You are not forgotten loved one,
Nor will you ever be,
As long as life and memory last
We will remember thee.

We miss you now our hearts are sore,
As times go by we miss you more,
Your loving smile, your gentle face,
No one can fill your vacant place.

Michael WHITMIRE - 8575284
Michael WHITMIRE is my 7th Great. In his Memorial, you state that he is NOT the Michael WHITMIRE of Maryland or Philadelphia. Arlee Gowen, in her "The Whitmire Manuscript" has referenced research to the contrary. How much of what she has referenced are you refuting? (I'm working from her "'Page' 002".)

James Samuel Grigg Photo
My name is Mark Grigg. My grandfather was Robert Curney Grigg and my Great Grandfather was James Samuel Grigg. Your photo of Samuel and a photo of me was almost a carbon copy. When I put it up on Facebook, everyone thought it was a picture of me. I would love to find out more information about my Great Grandfather. My email address is

Re Memorial 8575284
Linda, This stone you enhanced was that of a Michael Whitmire but not Michael Whitmire Sr. his grave is the next one over next to Sarah Latham Whitmire. I have personally verfied this from Mrs. Hesters research. The Michael that is buried in this spot is the one of Michael IV. son of Michael III. & Mary Fendley who died in the Civil War and his body was brought back home for burial. This was confirmed from Mrs hesters research & family members. A Civil War Military stone has been erected upon this grave

Robert Moore
Are you related to Robert Moore? His daughter, Alice Condoney "Doney" Moore Summers is my great grandmother. I had info on the Moore family but lost it when lightening hit my computer.

I really didn't intend to remove your photo request, it just happened. But yes it's just as well, because Tom couldn't possibly be there. Some people post memorials based strickly on supposition, which they shouldn't... but they do. Hope you find him! Rich.

Della Williams headstone Finley-Sunset Hills
Saw your reply that the photo was not the correct one. Another thing supporting that is she was married to Roy Everett Williams but the other person on the headstone is if I read it correctly, a Robert C. Williams.

Also, could you confirm that Della and Roy were divorced sometime around 1930. A Roy Williams appears in the 1930 census as divorced.
