Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Deborah Swaar. I'm currently researching numerous Ashmores (Wiley Sherman, Stephen Robert, James Joshua & their fathers), Omer (William, Greenberry, Bennett) Chambers, Elizabeth Jane Burris, Millie (Joseph Buchanan & Robert S.) Wilson, Sarah A. (Reuben & James/Jabez) Owens, Elvira (Robert Boaz & Alexander) Gordon, Anna/Adline Robertson, Martha Ann (Zachariah & George) Keeton, Matthews, McCarley, Slaughter, Suggett, Arthur & John Irwin, James Henry (William W. & Marmaduke) Kimbrough, Matthias & Jesse Yoakum/Yocum/Jochem, Georg Friedrich Adolf Hanning & his wife Wilhelmine Catharine Henriette Benkelberg and their ancestors in Germany & Switzerland. I'm also interested in any Trail of Tears Southern Native American stories available.

Tracing ancestry has been a wonderful hobby. I'm looking for records and graves mainly in Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama, Illinois, Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina in the US; and graves in the UK, Germany, Italy, France and Spain.

I saw the flower on his memorial.

I couldn't find his marker in McCarley Cemetery.

If you read my blog entry on the family cemetery, you'll see why. It's abandoned now and nature has almost reclaimed it.

Here's the link to the entry.
