Bio and Links
Bio Photo Having a great love for genealogy, visiting cemeteries is a way to "get to know" some of my ancestors, cousins, aunts and uncles especially when there is no other photo available.

If you see a photo that I have posted that is unclear due to resizing or want the full photo, please email me and I may be able to provide the unreduced photograph.

If you send me a rude request, I will delete it and will not read it at all.

Effective immediately: when you send me links to parents or spouse, I will not be able to add the links unless you give me both the name and the link number and the request is made via the edit field (no emails or message on my contributor page). This is to ensure that the link is made to the correct person.

I copied some of this from someone else's contributor page and find that it applies to my expectations as well:

TRANSFERS: I will transfer memorials within the Find A Grave four-generation rule when I have added a tombstone photograph. I will be happy to add additional information or links. I will not transfer my own relatives except in very rare instances. In many cases, I will make transfers when I have not added a tombstone photograph.

REQUESTING TRANSFERS: Use the "Edit" button; I will not respond to email or contributor page transfer requests. This helps ensure accuracy. Please do not request multiple transfers in one message; one person per request. Do not send requests like "transfer all Millers in this cemetery." To comply with transfer policy, you must fully explain your relationship to the individual.

LINKS: While genealogy is a secondary function of Find A Grave, I think linking makes Find A Grave more informative and is a great genealogy tool. Again, use the "Edit" button. I will not respond to email or contributor page requests. One person per request. For example, if you want to link all the children of a couple to the parents, send an individual request for each child. I will not add links without the link number and name.

PICTURES: I take pictures for people to enjoy and use as documentation in their research. Therefore, you may use them for your personal needs. However, if you republish them, add the following: WPO Patti, Find A Grave contributor 46588659. Under NO circumstances are the pictures to be used in a "for sale" publication (or website) without my express written permission for each item.

OBITUARIES: I will not add an obituary without a source. If you see one of my memorials with an obituary attached and it contains either living individuals or no source, please send me a suggestion through the edit field so that I might correct it to agree with findagrave rules.

Leila Adda
Thank you very much for the transfer of Leila Adda's memorial. Her parents endured much heartache. They had 9 children, and 5 of them died very young.
I am trying to link all of their memorials.
I am very grateful to you for adding the memorials at Calvary Presbyterian Cemetery. I don't recall seeing headstones for Leila, Sue, or the other infant when I was there in 2008.
Thank you for all you are doing to make Find A Grave a better resource for family members.

Joseph Bishop
Thank you for the transfer of Joseph Bishop. I have been working on a very close and dear friend of mine genealogy for the last year now. Trying to gather information on his McMullen family who moved from Mississippi to Louisiana and also they went into Texas. This Joseph is apart of the McMullen line marrying into the Bishop line in TX. I couldn't recently find anything on this Joseph for some reason except for census with his parents, then all of a sudden his name keeps popping up so I took a better look at his vitals and knew it was the right guy. After the 1900 census he wasn't in TX anymore and apparently he moved back the old place were he was raised in Arkansas. I however can't find his wife Lydia Roberts-Bishop, she doesn't show up on anything, death, marriage, births for them. It feels to me like either she died while in TX or maybe not until they went to Ark. She doesn't show up on the 1900 census with Joseph and his father's family in Waco, McLennan Co. TX at all. Although it states that Joseph is married. So I have a brick wall here. Lydia should be born around the same time as Joseph because their marriage is in Feb 1897 in McLennan Co. TX from what I have gathered so far. Strange there is not a death for Lydia is all. Thanks again for the transfer, greatly appreciated.

Elizabeth W. Auten
Hi Patty, I just sent you a suggestion regarding Elizabeth Auten, but I jumped the gun. She isn't the person I thought she was, so you don't need to make the edits I suggested.

Got to be careful about these things. Sorry.
