Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am proud to say that I am a US Air Force Brat.

I am the youngest of six children. I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

I am the father of 2 beautiful daughters named Ashley and Rachel and a awesome and handsome little grandson named Jacob.

I have very strong family roots in Vigo, Clay, Parke, Sullivan, Vermillion, Daviess, and Knox Counties, Indiana; Campbell Co., TN; Madison, Jackson, and Rockcastle Counties, KY.

My earliest ancestor in America was John Proctor who arrived in Jamestown Colony, VA in 1610 on the Sea Venture. It is also rumored that he was also arrived with the original settlers but returned to England and came back.

I am researching the surnames of Neice, Niece, Nice, Hayne(s), Hane(s), Haine(s), Ramey, Bryant, France, Balding, Bemis, Bullis, Smith, Eby, Payne, Yocum, Yocom, Mitchell, Wagle, Waggle, Buckles, Bicknell, Tallman, Knowlton, Miller, Cope, Proctor, Gadd, Neely, Goffang, Vernon, Creal, Mienheartt, Reynolds, Hill, Phillippe, Cooksey, Simrell, and Olgus.

If I have added your family member let me know so I can transfer them over to you. As I DO NOT believe in the transfer guidelines, if they are not related to you then why in the world would you want them unless you are a control freak. If they are related to me, then I will let you know and if I am willing to transfer them or not. I usually do unless they are close kin. Sometimes it comes down to who is a closer in relation. However, I am not willing to transfer my direct lines, sorry.

Almost everyone that I have added at Woodlawn Cemetery is of no-relation, so transferring is no problem.

Thank you for the link for Leesa Montgomery's husband. Do you have any burial information for her?

Quincy Adams Warden Memorial
Hi Mark
Just wondering if you have a family link to Quincy Adams Warden. I see that on her memorial you have added 2 newspaper obits. she is my husbands great grandmother & there is some family stories about her actually being murdered by her husband. The kids of the couple were all sent to foster homes after her death. I'd like to either prove or disprove the story.
Thank you in advance for your reply

John Yocum (1747)
Hi Mark! I see that you have added a John Yocum (1747) #94688388 to the database from a tiny cemetery in Clay County, IN. Thank you for your efforts! I do, however, believe that a child listed is incorrect. I've seen a few different lists of many children of this John Yocum, but never a Dorothea. With some research, it seems that others believe that Dorothea was the daughter of John Yocum (1752), son of Phillip Paul Yocum, who married Mary Magdalene Neff and died in WV. These Johns would have been cousins, I believe, and it appears they had an additional cousin John (died TN), son of Valentine Felty Yocum. I've even seen censuses with 3 Johns and a Jonathan, so at times they are impossible to identify separately! I do believe that Dorothea is misplaced here. I am decended from this John Yocum and Mary Downing through his daughter Martha Yocum (1780s) who married Daniel Dunlavy.

Woodlawn Cemetery
I am going to be doing some research/find a grave picture taking but I'm not clear on how to put the locations of a grave. would I be correct if I said a grave was located in Section 38, sub section A, Division 6? or in the Catholic Section, Divsion 24, part a?
