Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am proud to say that I am a US Air Force Brat.

I am the youngest of six children. I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

I am the father of 2 beautiful daughters named Ashley and Rachel and a awesome and handsome little grandson named Jacob.

I have very strong family roots in Vigo, Clay, Parke, Sullivan, Vermillion, Daviess, and Knox Counties, Indiana; Campbell Co., TN; Madison, Jackson, and Rockcastle Counties, KY.

My earliest ancestor in America was John Proctor who arrived in Jamestown Colony, VA in 1610 on the Sea Venture. It is also rumored that he was also arrived with the original settlers but returned to England and came back.

I am researching the surnames of Neice, Niece, Nice, Hayne(s), Hane(s), Haine(s), Ramey, Bryant, France, Balding, Bemis, Bullis, Smith, Eby, Payne, Yocum, Yocom, Mitchell, Wagle, Waggle, Buckles, Bicknell, Tallman, Knowlton, Miller, Cope, Proctor, Gadd, Neely, Goffang, Vernon, Creal, Mienheartt, Reynolds, Hill, Phillippe, Cooksey, Simrell, Kendall. Shaw, and Olgus.

If I have added your family member let me know so I can transfer them over to you. If they are related to me, then I will let you know and if I am willing to transfer them or not. However, I am not willing to transfer my direct lines, sorry.

Almost everyone that I have added at Woodlawn Cemetery is of no-relation, so transferring is no problem.

Robert Gregory & wife Mary
Dear Mark, In the process of adding parent links for Robert Gregory and Mary (Akester) Gregory I unlinked them as a couple. When their parents are added I will go back and unite them. Interesting note is that Robert's father, Walter and Mary's mother, Ruth (Stone) Akester were married after their spouses died, but divorced after 7 years. But, it was enough time for the step-children to decide to marry each other. Thanks for the attention to these edits. As I am related to all these Gregorys, are you? Thanks, Lily

Hey Mark,

I just wanted to let you know Uncle Peanut is going to be buried in Bee Ridge Cemetery per the obituary in the TribStar. Someone has already created a memorial for him (174787450).

Markle Cemetery
Mark, the Woods girls you are maintaining in Markle, I now have their mother created - 174004211. If you will link them to her. You haven't approved edit yet for their father I had done earlier. Also, that darn captcha (sp?) is not working so can't send you a message of my findings on the girls. If you'd like to transfer them to me, I can add more to their memorial. Thanks and have yourself a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Warm hugs!

Juanita Jane Grubbs Sankey-19966722
Mark, would be willing to transfer Juanita Jane Grubbs Sankey-19966722 and her husband James Theodore Sankey-19966707-I have their obituaries and would like to add that to their memorials.
Juanita was married at one time to a cousin-Noble Abner Ray-144000445.
I have found almost all of the Sankey family and am trying to get them all linked.
Thanks for all your contributions to Find A Grave.
My connection on my mother's side is the Stevens/Stephens that settled in Indiana.
Have a nice day.

RE: conwell
I'm sorry. I know some people have a harder time dealing with things than others. I hope you can get in touch with him (not just for family info but, because you two still need each other). Maybe he'll feel more like it around the holidays. If you can leave him a message, let him know that Connie's granddaughter is trying to get family info and maybe he would be willing to let me contact him or him contact me. Thanks . Hope all is well with you.

RE: conwell
I was just wondering if you've been able to get the info together. I would love to see it and then I could hopefully fill in the blanks , if I have anything you don't

RE: John Proctor
I have two John Proctors in my data base
I was trying to find out which one that you were related to.
After more research you are my ex husband's 5th cousin twice removed on his mother's side of the family.
John and Mary Bicknell were his 4th great aunt and uncle.

Goldie Mae Stewart Tallman Obituary
I was wondering if you would be willing to copy and paste Goldie Mae Stewart Tallman (memorial #40964721) obituary to her biography on the memorial you created for her? I have her obituary I got from the Vigo County Public Library from the Terre Haute Tribune on page 2 from March 28, 1970 paper. This is how her obituary reads from the paper.

Mrs. Goldie Tallman
Services for Mrs. Goldie Tallman, 70, 2955 S 13 1/2 St. who died in Union Hospital at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, will be at 3 p.m. Monday at De Baun Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday. Surviving are one brother, Eugene Stewart, Terre Haute and one sister, Mrs. Nellie Curtis, Rockville.

Thank you so much for adding this.

Joseph Robert Bob Bryan
Mark, Thanks for setting up Bob's site. I have added two pictures. I don't how to add his obituary. Can you do that for me? Also, his stone was ordered in June so it should be arriving soon as well as his military stone. When it comes in I will be able to add that picture.

Also when we ordered his stone we also ordered one for William Balding and wife Nora. Just wanted you to know. So you can keep a watch for it.
