Please send me any corrections or additions that you come across. Also, any memorial that I have added I will gladly transfer to family members.|
Please do not be one to hold memorials hostage. Do not be offended if you are requested to correct or update a memorial you have created. These are more than tokens on your profile. These memorials represent family members, friends, loved ones. Our collective goal should be the integrity of the memorial, not who created it or who maintained it, but the memory of the person it represents.
I understand the Find a Grave transfer request says within four generations, but family is family and I am always happy to place memorials in the hands of loved ones.
I have uploaded numerous photos to this site, all of which may be used freely. All I ask is that photos be used be in a respectful and tasteful manner.

|Felicia W||Jeff Kemp @ Lindsey Cemetery|
Thank you in advance for adding the photo of Jeff Kemp's gravestone! I see you have a virtual cemetery of Sheriffs of Tishimongo County. Do you know the Kemp family? Jeff is my cousin. His gravestone hadn't been placed yet when we visited last June. It will be wonderful to have his memorial complete. Thanks again!

Back in 2013, you added photo of his gravestone. I'm wondering if his parents, Candler and Betty, who died in 1998 and 1999 are there also. They are not listed in the Tishomingo County cemeteries book from 1999.
I could ask Deaton's, but thought you might know.
|Joyce Cannon||Chesta and Jake Hallmark|
My name is Joyce Robertson Cannon and Chesta Lee Robertson (Hallmark) was my Aunt. Uncle Jake was born in Belmont Ms. and that was where they lived when they retired from Tuscaloosa Al. My Aunt worked in a department store and Uncle Jake was a barber. Both of them took care of my Grandmother, Dollie Gilliland Robertson before she died. When my Grandmother died they locked up her house and some kids broke in and burned the house down with everything in it. Included in that was a spinning wheel and my Aunt's books from school (Center School House down where I used to live with my parents). My Dad, his parents and a lot of kin is buried at LoveJoy Cemetary in Fayette Co. Ala.

I have tranfered a good bit of your Palmer Family today. I did not realize I had control over so many. I am sorry it took so long and I will try to transfer the rest in the next few days.
|A. Liles Hok||Thanks|
Thank you for posting a memorial for my ggg-ggg grandmother Elizabeth Roberts Palmer. What a wonderful piece of history and heritage you've shared!
|Larry Benton||Mitchell Cemetery|
My wife is a descendant of Jesse Cole and would like to go to Mitchell Cemetery. I know the approximate location, but it looks difficult to find. Could you give any directions or advice? Also, are the trails leading to it public or private? Do you know the owners?
Thanks for your help

Thank you for the photo of her cemetery marker. According to the 1900 census she was born in 1898, not 1900. Her maiden name was Stacy, daughter of William and Norma Stacy.

Thanks for letting me know . . . I've put him in the correct cemetery.
Thanks, too, for all the photos you're busy adding.
