I volunteered at my church in Pastoral Care for 5 years. This was something that I was so happy to be involved in..it was filling a need that I had to be connected after relatives deaths and also I feel that I was able to help others. I have learned so many lessons about how death and illness affects the lives of everyone's loved ones and how much it helps to have a way to reach out. I still love volunteering but now in different things in the church rather than the office work.|
I found this site while looking for famous people. I didn't know at first that I could add loved ones. I feel it is a wonderful tribute to their memories. Many times we only remember the good things and I don't feel it is important to dwell on the past. We have to forgive things in each ones past in order to be forgiven ourselves.
In reading others memorials and obits, I am retreiving memories that were lost in this aging mind..some tearful but mostly joyful. THANK YOU CONTRIBUTORS.
I have had many hobbies at different times in my life, but my relationship with God & family has always been top priority in my life.
If you see errors or are disappointed with a memorial that I have left please E-MAIL me with all the corrected information be SURE and reference F.A.G in the subject line or the e-mail may be taken as spam. I will gladly correct or delete as you desire. If it is your family member I will gladly turn control over to you so you can make it more personal. If it is also a family member of mine I desire to keep on my site even if there is a duplication. I know there may be things that I know that are important for future generations. It is not my desire to offend anyone, only to honor with respect.
I think every memorial should have flowers on it especially babies and servicemen and women.
THANK YOU FOR LEAVING MEMORIALS FOR MY FAMILY MEMBERS.
Please click on the above picture and read about the example in life that I had.

Sometimes money is dear. My grandfather died in 1954, grandmother in 1958, and it was not until my sister died in 1976 that I convinced my parents to use my sister's insurance benefit to buy modest markers for all 5 (including my parents) of them and probably should have included myself, but figured I would share a marker with my husband. So the old metal funeral home markers were all Gpa & Gma had for almost 20 years. At least with Findagrave, even if the temporary marker goes missing, we know where she is buried and that's the beauty of Findagrave.

Keep up all the wonderful work you are doing! Just a reminder, used the pull down menu when you upload photos. That way the portraits will stay on top of any grave photos.
|Deann Stapleton Williams||Edna White|
Thank you so much for adding my beautiful grandmother Edna White. I live in AZ and I don't get home much. God Bless You!
Thank you for the transfer...
|Connie Lagasse Russell||RE: Re: Robert Jones|
You're memorial for Robert Jones was duplicated, but you don't have him in a cemetery...you have him as "cremated with unknown location"
If you take a look at the other memorial you'll notice that he's actually buried at A graveside service was at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 16, at Bryantsville Cemetery with military honors.
What you need to do is move your memorial to that cemetery...of course that will create a duplicate for Robert Jones...maybe you can convince the other volunteer to delete his duplicate memorial once you move your memorial over to Bryantsville Cemetery.
Hope I haven't confused you too much.

Hello! Yes, Martha is my maternal grandmother - I'd love it if you were able to transfer to me. I may wish to sponsor a few more relatives too.
Thank you so very much for the work that you are doing. I can't say what it means to me to know they have been cared for in this way.

Thanks for the transfer. I will add info to it for my granddaughter. He will be in good hands.
