Arrowhead Valley Chapter D A R (#47720359)
member for 4 years, 4 months, 20 days

Bio and Links
Bio Photo The Arrowhead Valley Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution was organized on December 7, 2002, from the Arrowhead and San Bernardino, California chapters. Both chapters had long and illustrious histories.
The Arrowhead Chapter was organized on April 19, 1917, the anniversary of the Battle of Lexington and the "shot heard round the world." The organizing regent was Mrs. Irving Davis.
The San Bernardino Chapter was organized soon after, on March 20, 1920, with Mrs. Anna Boley Garner as organizing regent.
These two venerable chapters merged December 7, 2002 to form a very dynamic chapter.
As you will notice, many of the entries on Find-A-Grave include members from all three of the chapters and are referred to as being a former member of Arrowhead Valley Chapter. That is because we wish to honor all three chapters of "our former members".
We are what they were.
We are grateful to those of you who created their memorials and were willing to transfer them to us when we started our "Remember Our Members" project.
Entries submitted to FindAGrave DO NOT constitute proof of lineage. It is our hope that our research of census records, newspaper articles, birth, marriage and death certificates, and cemetery records will help lead others to the Revolutionary War Patriot in their family.
The NSDAR will welcome you!

Jonah Queen of Ohio
Someone from your chapter left a note saying he was a Revolutionary War Veteran, last I knew, the DAR would not recognize him as such. Believe me I wish he was recognized. Can you tell me where this came from? I tramped around Columbiana County and finally found the neglected Cemetery, named County Line Cemetery in East Liverpool. Jonah's grave marker is knocked over, I got in touch with a previous lady who mapped the Cemetery many years ago, she directed me to the plot he is buried in. His wife, Sarah Catherine March Queen is buried away from Jonah, with her family inside a small gated family plot. If I hear he is indeed recognized0, I would notify the American Legion and have a new marker put on his grave and see that proper recognition will be given him as a Revolutionary War Veteran. I have been told that his property was awarded him for his service. Todd7034@gmail.com, Todd Dulaney

I have filled your photo requests. Note 1860 date for Alice.
I have no hang ups about transferring memorials to ANY FG member in good standing.
Send me a transfer request for the ones you would like to manage.
