I found this site 5 or 6yrs ago.My oldest brother was killed in WW11 . This started me on a search for 90th Bomb Group vets especially the KIAs. I have a virtual cemetery with all the KIAs of the 90th Bomb Group that I can find.
Thanks to everyone that honors these men and all veterans.

Thank you so much for transferring my cousin, William Meade, II (11379251) to me. I also appreciate that you have taken a picture of his grave site. I appreciate all the work you do for Find A Grave.

90th Bomb group plaque

We are having trouble getting the brand new group burial photo of all these guys on their memorials...if you could remove the 90th Bomb Plaque from those that do not have the group memorial marker...A Horan can add the grave photo...thanks!

Leroy & Bessie SIms
Dear Kenneth & Carolyn,
Find A Grave# 37516763 Leroy Sims was taken by you. But his wife's side is not visable nor entered into the cemetery: Fairview.
Do you have another picture showing Bessie Alice Fast Sims?

RE: Oak Grove Burials
Kenneth and Carolyn,

I'm at the library and have discussed your problem with the person who is working at the library today. She says that Johnson and Janckson County Lines goes through near or through the town of Oak Grove. Oak Grove Cemetery is on the Jacksaon County side of the line. We both believe this is the cemetery meniton in the obituary. Since Anna was buried over a hundred years ago, we both agree that there was no tombstone placed on her grave or else the tombstone disappeared over the years.

I don't remember seeing a cemetery office on my visists to to Oak Grove Cemetery. Sometime a town's city hall will have cemetery listings. You may try contacting the Oak Grove City Hall and ask them if there are any cemetery listings.

RE: Oak Grove Burials
Kenneth and Carolyn,

Sorry for the delay. Too many irons in the fire.

Sorry to say, but my local library dosen't have a listing for Oak Grove Cemetery in Jackson county.

Try going on line and contacting the Mid-Continent Genealogy Library, Jackson County, Missouri. If anyone has a listing for Oak Grove it will be this library. This library is one of the top ten genealogy libraries in the U. S.

Thank you! If you'd like to see a picture of him on his funeral card go to, click on Digital Archives, and search for his name.
