Born in Greenfield Indiana in 1960 to Jack and Evelyn(Greene)Shamblin(later Evelyn McDonald and Carr). Father and Mother divorced and father remarried & still living in Greenfield Indiana with my stepmother Dona J. Shamblin(Brooks). I grew up in London Indiana and I reside in New Palestine Indiana. Graduated from Vincennes University 1980 with an Associates Degree in Law Enforcement with a minor in Psychology and Graduated from the University of Indianapolis 1987 with a major in Criminal Justice and currently a Field Officer with Hancock County Community Corrections. I was married 1 time to Kathy H. (Moore) Shamblin, the wonderful mother of my 3 boys Brad, Gregory and Steven. I have always been intrigued by final resting places of those who tread this earth as we do now and giving the proper respect to them and their families, friends and fans. I have tried to pay it forward by taking up the hobby & fascination of being a volunteer on this site and enjoying the ability to help others with visual memories & knowledge of their loved ones final resting places.|

Thank you for walking the entire cemetery. I really appreciate it. Due to the age the headstones are most likely long gone.

Thank you for trying so hard to locate his stone for me.
I greatly appreciate the hard work!!!

Thank you again. The deterioration in these stones demonstrates how important photo volunteers are -- at least we can see in part, what it once looked like.

Thank you so much, but it was sad to see how little is left of the stones.

Thank you Greg for taking the effort to see
if there was a tombstone for the two Holding
Sorry we "struck out" on them. I was hoping to verify dates of birth and death information from a tombstone.

Thank you so much for taking the time to take the pictures of Glen's headstone. I really appreciate it.

Thank you for putting Rod's photo on his memorial, we were classmates. He was such a tormentor LOL.
|Paul Bates||RE: Sarah Shamblin,|
Mose Ferguson had a daughter Ann Ferguson who married DC Haskins and they had a daughter Sarah Haskins my GGgrandfathers sister, your gggrandmther who married the Shamblin, hope this helps :)
When I did the photos for James, Riley and Mable Greene I noticed there is a Riley L Greene Jr 1926-1999 right beside Riley and Mable (James is on the right side, Riley on the left.) would you like me to make a Memorial page for Riley L Jr or do you prefer to do it; I have the photo so if you put the page on let me know and I will insert the photo. The sun was right into the camera so one is not as good as I would have liked but the one of Riley L is very good and a footmaker stating his military service.
Regards, Carolyn in E TN

I'm a little confused because i have a family genealogy of John Fruit Hannah and there is no child listed for Moses and Jane Ferguson by the name of Sarah and then you see the Haskins on her memorial so was she actually David and Ann Haskins daughter? or was there another sister anmed Sarah and Ann and Sarah married Haskins? and perhaps someone died or divorced?
