Hi again, I sent an edit to add H K Smith as her father. If I make it to the cemetery, I will look at the date of birth, it is probably 1846, not 1816

You are welcome. I would love to add more information about him if you have it. Such as his parents, sisters and brothers. Anything you have would be greatly appreciated.

I am a Charter Board Member of the Georgia Flat Cemetery Association. Our president is a history buff and has done a lot of research and knows a lot of people in the Sons of the Confederate she is also on boards with the historical society and Benton County Cemetery Preservation Group. She has dug up most of the history on this cemetery. There are no stones for the confederate soldiers here but we have been trying to get them. It is still a work in progress. We don't know where they are all buried but there are a lot of rocks marking graves. And as the journal of GAMMAGE BRIGADE SURGEON of MCNAIR'S BRIGADE states they lost 30 men in 36 days so it must have been real hard on them.

You misspelled Franklin in the Edit suggestion, do you think you can find it and delete it? Thanks, Edith

Find A Grave # 25504029
On your memorial for Rosa Viola Wiggins, you have her born 6/7/1905 and died 7/11/1987 buried at Ringgold, Bienville Parish, LA. You list her parents as John and Willie S Sisk and her husband as James Glenn Wiggins. My husband's grandmother was Rosie Viola Sisk born 1/6/1905 died 6/27/1981 sat Bastrop, Morehouse Parish, LA buried at Carters Cemetery Collingston, Morehouse Parish, LA Find A Grave Memorial # 97845806. She was married to James A. Wiggins born 11/27/1882 and died 11/17/1942 buried Oak Grove Cemetery. She later married Henry Jack Oliver. Her parents were John Wesley Sisk 1862-1/17/1935 buried Oak Grove Cemetery Winnsboro, Franklin Parish, LA and Willie Savannah Fife 7/15/18701-6/28/1959 also buried Oak Grove Cemetery Find A Grave # 32314613.
This is very confusing, is this a coincidence or do I have wires crossed somewhere? Are we referring to the same Rosie?
