Wes Albers is a retired journalist. He began his career at The Lincoln (Neb.) Star, worked for the Binghamton (N.Y.) Evening Press and The Miami (Fla.) Herald, then finished his career with McClatchy-Tribune Information Services in Washington, D.C.

He currently lives in northern Virginia.
