I volunteer as a Board of Directors member and Archivist for the Pennington Research Association. I am involved in much Pennington activity whether they are my direct line or not. Our family is officially Group 6 of this wonderful genealogy site. http://www.penningtonresearch.org/
I've entered various kinds of cemetery records here at findagrave.com:
1) My own family members, if I know what cemetery they have been buried.
2) Photographed many, many cemeteries in the Readington Twp., Hunterdon Co., NJ area.
3) Various cemetery records that I have access to books or obituaries for all US States.
4) I'm half way finished with photographing the cemetery in Wanette, Oklahoma. There are about 1,500 more stones to photograph there. This is my hometown cemetery so its especially dear to me.
5) Starting to photograph more cemeteries in the Eureka, St. Louis Co., MO area...but I've been slow at this. The Franklin Co., MO Cemetery Society pretty much has this area covered. Their contact information is www.cemeterysociety.org.
I have an interest in all tombstones of service men and women. Especially the ones that mention the Revolutionary and Civil War.
I research many surnames, such as: Adkins, Akins, Armitage, Cullins, Elms, Harding, Kirkpatrick, Pennington, Pitts, Redford, Thomas, Whiteaker, Woodrome/Woodrum, Wilson, etc.
If you find any errors or would like to have additional information posted to any records that I have added, please contact me and I'll make those changes for you.
I have no problem with transferring ownership of a memorial that I have created. Just ask and it is yours.
You have my permission to use any of the photographs that I take for your genealogy family history. No need to ask, this statement is all that you need. If you list me as the source for the photo, just source me as Mindy.
The picture of the above statue is from a tombstone that I photographed at Evergreen Cemetery in Clinton, Hunterdon Co., NJ of a little boy. The children's graves are the ones that makes me the most sad.

 | Memorial 12879336 Please delete photo number 1 (her heart on the left side of the tombstone); there are 2 photos of the full front view of the tombstone, remove one of them. I would like to add a photo of my parents and this site only allows 5 photos. Thank you, MarolyneAdded by Marolyne on May 21, 2013 6:11 PM | | | Marolyne

 | RE: Is this the mother of Mabel Anna Parker Hackett Treadway? It certainly appears to be. I don't have the full list of Mabel's family to go by. But, four things in Lillie's obit point to it: (1) Came to Oklahoma from Texas, (2) Dau., Mabel, (3) brother named Hurd, (4) pallbearer named Hackett. I see her memorial #12147226 also gives her maiden name as Hurd. Looks right to me. | | | | [View all messages...] |
