Bio and Links
My favorite hobby is taking photo's of older headstones. It will be all too soon that they will be un-readable, broken or plowed over. I really enjoy spending my time in, large or small farm cemeteries. Most of the photo's I take are not related to me. If you find any name that you would like to manage, please contact me and I will be happy to transfer those memorials to you. Many of my cemeteries are in Somerset Co. PA where my husband grew up, (right across from a cemetery of course).

John Rowe and Frances James
Frances James (Memorial #75958133 was married to John Rowe, but the John Rowe (Memorial #111708507) was her son who was married to Catherine Kenney (Memorial #111708567). I don't see any information on findagrave.com for Frances James husband. Her husband, John Rowe is buried in the Union Cemetery, Meyersdale, Somerset County, PA. He was born Aug. 9, 1834 in Hetton, County Durham, England and died Aug. 14, 1911 in Meyersdale, Somerset County, PA. I have a copy of his death certificate showing he was buried in Union Cemetery on Aug. 17, 1911.

Edward B. Spangler
I question this one as might be the same as the one at #137901970.

Edward B. Spangler, a veteran of the 133rd Reg. Pa. Vol., died Wednesday, Nov. 6, at his home in this place. He was born May 25, 1841, in Shade township, being a son of Mr. and Mrs Henry S. Spangler. On December 25, 1889, he was married to Miss Charlotte Swank, sister of Jewler J. D. Swank. THe couple had been living in Somerset for the past ten years. Mr. Spangler is survived by two brothers, Solomon, of Shade township, and Gabriel of Northhampton township, and by three sisters. Mrs. Calvin Ross, Mrs. Anna Frazier, and Mrs. William Custer, all of Sahde township. The funeral at 10 o'clock Friday morning was conducted by R.P. Cummins Post G.A.R. and James Hichman Camp Sons of Veterans. Rev. I. Hess Wagner, and Rev. Dr. Hiram King conducted religous services at the house.

Obit. dated November 13, 1912, Mary S. Biesecker Library, scanned obituaries

Adam Snyder
Just a heads up on Adam Snyder (memorial #52061759). Although the picture you have of Adam Snyder's headstone appears to say 1887, in fact he died in 1885. I have the newspaper article from the Somerset Herald (11 NOV 1885) written on his death as documentation if you would like a copy.
