Bio and Links
I live in East Tennessee. My husband and I have been doing genealogy for about 40 years on the Reneau/Reno and Damewood lines and have traveled to many states gathering information on these lines. We have photographed some tombstones on our lines in the East Tennessee area and I have added them to Find-A-Grave. I am not kin to most of the people in Lynnhurst and Greenwood but have photographed and added them to Find-A-Grave as a service to others who are researching their ancestors.

I will handle your suggestions to memorials as I have time. From now on I will only make transfers if it is your immediate family, i.e., your children, parents, siblings, grandparents.

John R. Reno Jr.
Hi Sue,

I grew up a couple doors down from Laurel Point (Freeds) Cemetery in North Sewickley Twp., Beaver Falls, PA and thought I would take photos of all or most of the grave stones there. Didn't seem like a very big cemetery UNTIL you start taking pictures and posting them. Whew!

Anyway, I added the photo for John R. Reno, Jr. and wanted to let you know that the inscription on his stone says, "Aged 15 Years" in case you would like to add it to his info.

You may find some others there you were looking for also now. If I can help with anything, let me know.

Ray Orrick
I was wondering if you could connect my uncle Ray with his parents. His father is Robert Matt Orrick #26632607 and Mother Martha Ellen Jackson Orrick # 26632621. When these are connected his brother and sisters will appear on his page. If you would like to transfer memorial of him and Aunt Ellen #45764868 I could just start add the family information. Thanks for your consideration.

RE: Reno / thanks for replay
Hi, Sue.
Thanks for the reply. I know quite a lot about Horace & mother Malissa A Ford. Have seen pictures of her holding Monta (Horace's daughter) as a baby.
William W. Reno was born in Penn. He married young & it looks like he didn't live for very long after Horace was born. Various data have William in with Reno in Illinois prior to marriage to Malissa. Don't know if it helps you or not. Have heard family legend of Reneau spelling, back to French/Canadian fur trappers? I didn't think that William Wagoner was correct so thanks for confirming that for me, Suzy B

Reno info or maybe help?
Hi Sue,
I read your bio & saw that you have been researching Reno/Reneau for over 40 years. Monta RENO Bryant was born 1903 in Indpls, IN. Her Father was Horace W. Reno (not one of the of the southern IN, train robbing reno clan). Horace W was born in 1880 in Indpls,IN & died in 1965 in FL. William W. Reno born in PENN. was his father & he married Horace's mother in 1880 in Indpls, IN. I am stuck at this point. Do you have any idea if William W. is William Wagoner Reno? Thanks. Suzy B. #47666031

Linda L. Cottrell Liss
Hi, Sue: I am not related to this family, but have been doing some research through the Roane County [WV] Historical Society. Suggestions: Please connect Matison [aka: Madison/Madson] #29329975 to his wife #29329960 at Clover Cem. He was b. in Roane Co. & died at Spencer, Roane Co., WV. Wife, Martha May Dilworth Damewood was b. in Jackson Co., WV & died at Walton, Roane Co., WV.
Do you know where their daughter Ermah L. Damewood [1907-2001] is buried? Thanks, Linda L. Cottrell-Liss at

RE: James M. Damewood
I'm talking about James McDowell Caldwell, married Frances Madora Damewood. Or Madora Frances. He was my great-grandfather and my grandfather was Shelby T. Caldwell, his son. Madora, of course was my great-grandmother. They are both buried At Mt Pleasant United Methodist Church cemetery. The dates are correct for both.
There are a few "James Caldwell's".
Let me know what you find out.
Thank You'

Rosaline Lane
Hello. I was searching for Rosalie Lane and had a had time finding her since she is listed as Roseline. Is this her actual name or is this a typo? She is the first wife of Frank P. Lane also buried at Lynnhurst. After Rosalie past away he married my Great Aunt, Ruth Milo Jollay. She is also buried at Lynnhurst. I hope this will be of some help in identifying these people. If you need anymore information feel free to contact me.
