My name is Tabitha and I was born in Abbeville, Louisiana but was raised in Church Point, Louisiana. I am married and live in Raymond, MS. I love watching movies, listening to music and spending time with family. History is very exciting to me. I hope to make new friends and maybe learn more about my family tree.|

Tabitha, I don't blame you for feeling this way. Most of the time I love findagrave but I'm not too happy with some of the photos others have left on some of my memorials. There's really nothing you can do about it. If the memorial is of someone you are close to, you might pay the $5.00 fee that allows you to add all the photos you want to that memorial plus stops the ads from coming up on that memorial. Then you can add more photos which will make the unwanted ones move off the page. They will still be there and can be seen if needed but they just won't be 'in your face' when you look at your loved one's memorial. That's really the only solution I've been able to come up with. I think most of the folks would remove a photo if you explained your feelings (in a nice way). That all depends, too, on if they are still active. That is another problem all unto itself. All the best, Keith & Lynne

Your pictures "covered" my picture so I can't see them now. If I could, I would gladly remove them. The only pictures seen are the ones from you. If you manage the memorial, you may have the rights to delete them and you certainly have my permission.
And yes, Find A Grave technology allows anyone to add pictures to memorials.
So if you have a picture you want to add to someone else's, feel free to do so. You'll find that 99% (plus) of Find A Grave people to be friendly and polite as you were.
I did the work in Salem Cemetery because my grandparents are buried there. I grew up in Learned.

Regarding your message on Jim Tipton's profile, this is a collaborative site so anyone can post appropriate photos on any non-famous memorial just as anyone can leave "flowers" on any memorial. That's just how the site works.

Just got this message. Sorry, but I haven't been on here in a while. If you would like I would be more than happy to transfer your grandmas and uncles to you so that you can maintain them all.

Tabitha, my sincere apologies for not seeing your post on my page from nearly 2 yrs ago. You'd asked about my ancestors migrating from Lousiana to California... I'm unsure as to what brought my great grandfather out this way. I do know that his mother (my great-great gma) followed him out to California when trouble in her marriage ensued. She eventually reconciled with my gg gfather and he came out to california. All of them are buried out here at Forest Lawn, Glendale Ca.
I hope this gives you some insight and again my deep apologies for not responding sooner.

Appreciate the quick response. I had located her daughters grave, and I am maintaining it for her since I live nearby. Linda had been chatting with me regularly and then just vanished a few months ago. Sorry for bothering you, but I ran out of other ideas. You have a nice day! Thanks Kim

Hi Tabitha, I see that you are a friend of Linda's (Taffin Lin's Mom) I am Linda's friend as well. I am worried because I havent been able to get in touch with her for months and I see that there has been no activity on her part for months either. Do you have any info that could shed some light on this mystery? Thanks a bunch. Kim

I was glad to do it.
No, I haven't started either and it will be slim pickings around here too. Hubby has been laid off again and we don't know when he'll go back. My family is blessed also and being together is the most important thing, for sure. Take care!!
