Bio Photo Because of the recent too much drama on findagrave , I will be following all of findagrave rules. Please check the FAQ for transfers, posting obits and obit photo's . Also copyright LAW applies to my headstone photo's and will be reported to FAG ADMIN and any harassment. You don't have to snitch them, just ask for permission. I will be removing any obits/ person pic I posted from my memorials off the other cemetery's I have been doing.and adding only those I have permission to use and have been edited and contain the source of the obit. I will add info given to me and any updates.

Findagrave is suppose to be a place where family can connect with the past, not being busy bodies and getting into other members business over rules
That is the Admin people who should be doing that. We are only volunteers, it's our time . When others start reporting petty things, it just takes away from what findagrave is all about and really hurts the feelings of those who volunteer their time.

If a memorial needs to be removed just ask me to remove it ,no questions asked, they will be removed soon as I'am notified

Born and raised in Brooklyn NY. I joined the Women's Army Corp Jun 1969 and retired in March 1984. The WAC was disbanded about 1979 and we all became the regular army. I spent two years at Ft McClellan as a Drill Sgt 1973-1975, had my basic 8 weeks training there in 1969, and 8 weeks of medic school Ft Sam Houston Tx I graduated from Texas A&M three months after being discharged from the Army Mar 1984,for a back injury I had in 1972. I was a Vet, small animal for 11 1/2 yrs and gave it up to move on to other things.

Findagrave is not a HOBBY. I Love genealogy/ History and being able to help others who are looking for their families. Findagrave is one good place to start looking. I have photographed entire local cemetery's here in Sioux Falls since 2005. Wood Lawn, Hills of Rest, St Michael's and some of Mount Pleasant. I know I have not gotten all the photo's yet. My main interest are the Veteran graves and honoring their service.

I'm in the process of restoring memorials I removed from Wood lawn cemetery and have to go back out and find the HS pics that I had, but don't have now. Still enjoy going out there.

A bit confused, Find A Grave#45366308 is maintained by you, therefore, would you please update the info for Christen G. Leyse?

Dr. Marie - There is a glitch with Ordie's memorial to send a message. Can you transfer #28381197 to me...Pat #47252127? Also before you transfer, take a look at the picture that I posted of James and Ordie...Pat

Remember Them Always
RE: Moe
Thanks for all the info! I'll have to read that article. That is so cool that the building is still standing and in use. I really dislike when buildings are razed that can easily be used. I'll have to drive by it next time I'm in Sioux Falls. ;) Yes, Edgar is Anton & Frances son. Thanks again for the transfers. =)

Clara Brandt Kreiser in Woodlawn
I believe you had posted her memorial, but it has disappeared? I created a new one for her # 141318098 . I have a copy of the headstone photo that you took and would love if you would repost the photo on her new memorial. If you don't have it I can post your picture with your permission.

Thanks for all your work in the Sioux Falls area for my family.

Veterans Thank you!
Thank you for your service with the military, and Find a Grave.
I was W.A.C. at Ft. McClellan, Ala. 1968, Ft. Sam Houston Texas for medic training Oct. 1968, Ft. Knox Ky. after that, etc. Left the military and continued with medical career and schooling, now retired R.N. with this habit of photographing in cemeteries and family history and research. Don't let the nit pickers and rude ones stop you. The world is FULL of unappreciative 'nasties'. Compared to the polite grateful people, they are irrelevant. I get my share of headaches from the occasional sour grape. But it isn't stopping me from continuing. Obits were o.k. to post reportedly until 2012, when the 'rules' changed. Some family members WANT them posted. Some don't. With F.A.G. continually changing the 'rules', it's enough to drive anyone nuts. Punctuate, don't punctuate. Etc.!
