Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am descended from families of John Winthrop's Fleet of 1630 and have ancestors that have served in King Philips War, the Indian Wars, the American Revolution and the Civil War. Have been researching my family for over a decade and am just getting into the Irish side of the family. I have a special interest in the Civil War and have been researching African American veterans of that war.

Thank you for your picture of Stephen's grave stone. I wonder if you know the Section and lot # of the grave site?

Dear Family Researcher,

I was delighted to find the name of my great grandfather in your list of civil war soldiers.

I would very much love to get a picture of his head stone. I believe his wife Ellen and son Harold are buried at St. John's as well.

Thank you,

Owen Fallon d. 1865
Dear Family Researcher
Family lore has a story of an Owen Fallon, I believe my 3rd great grand uncle, who was a Civi War veteran from Worcester, MA. Thank you for the photo of his gravestone. Any chance you know any more about him, eg, Irish origins, siblings and family. I know some from Ancestry.com and the National Archives, but I'm trying to learn more of my exact family ties to him. Thanks

Captain Frederick Monroe Whiting
I updated the memorial to include his military service as requested. If you have a tie to this man I would be more than happy to transfer the memorial to you. I have no connection to the man. I did a little bit of research only because I found a picture of his daughter Marian in a box of photos I bought off of Ebay.

Jamison/ Jameson
Tag thanks for info on Eugene Drury. Wondering if you can give me military info on Hugh and John Jamison also at St Joseph's Cemetery in Leicester. I have found some but you always come up with more details. I believe they are connected to my husband's clan. Thanks.

RE: Owen Hammell/St. Johns Cemetery Worc MA
Thank you so much, Tag. Look forward to hearing back at your convenience. Peter or Patrick Hammell would be the names I am primarily looking for. There may also be an Alice Hammell or an Elizabeth Hammell. Alice was the wife of Peter and died in childbirth. Elizabeth was the wife of Patrick.

Thanks again!

Hamel/Hammell's in St. John's Cemetery
Hello,

Thank you so much for documenting the graves of Owen Hammell and Bridget Hammell at St. John's Cemetery in Worcester, Massachusetts. I believe I am related to Owen through a 2nd great-grandfather and wondered if you had come across any other Hammell graves in the cemetery?

Please advise and thanks.

45 bucks - I'll take it!!

Wow inflation eh bud. Got to love it.

Thanks for the photos again. I was happy to learn of these distant cousins of mine. I was interested in them because they were from Templeton - the next town over from me.

**A note on the dates. I double checked every date I sent along with the official records at familysearch.org before I sent them to you.

Gravestones are great because they are right in front of you and you can say, okay this is when he was born and this is when he died. But I find the birth year is off a lot. Usually it's off only by a year depending on how they calculate the persons' age, but in Charles' case it's off by 2 years which is strange.

But no biggie tho.

I appreciate the help and quick fixes.

Amidon
Thank you so much for fulfilling my request for Charles Amidon at Hope Cemetery. Just like I hoped you found so many more Amidons down there that I did not know for sure were there. I appreciate all your time and effort.

Sincerely,
Ryan Amidon
